If you’re going to The Back Hills and the surrounding attractions, this a great home base. The house was exactly as advertised, neat and clean. Couldn’t have been better!
This old home is wonderful. Great amenities and fully stocked with kitchen items and towels. It is near Nemo and easy to drive to different Black Hills locations. Hosts were lovely and even baked us a coffee cake! Great little restaurant about a mile away to get some great ribs!! Lots of natural wildlife around. Loved all the birds in the yard, even a wild turkey! Peaceful location.
Jody and Rick were such amazing hosts! My buddy and I spent a few days turkey hunting and it was so great to come back and enjoy the peace and comfort this property offerts. It's one of the most beautiful spots in the world to hunt and we'll definitely be back! You can't go wrong staying here!Reagan KMineral VA
The farmhouse was a great spot to base our Black Hills and Badlands trip from! It was so peaceful and relaxing to come back to in the evening and enjoy a fire. We appreciated having a space to cook our own food too. And the turkeys and deer were fun to watch each day walking around! We would definitely stay again next time we are in the area!
Great, responsive communication. Rick and Jody made us feel very welcomed to their house. They take great pride in the house as every thing was spotless and the bed was comfortable. It was interesting listening to Rick describe the local area and suggested recommendations for good fishing spots (yes we caught fish!). Jody’s homemade coffee cake was delicious! What a nice welcoming gift. Super nice folks. We looked forward to seeing our daily visitor - a wild turkey and a few deer in the pasture. Also we enjoy taking a 1 1/2 mile hike through the woods on his property. Overall, a great experience… 5 stars.
We loved this property and will be back - so clean, it had everything we needed and then some, and the coffee cake was the best surprise. Great location for UTV trails, lots of room for parking and backing a trailer. Super friendly owner. Can’t wait to book again!
A great place to unwind. This is our second stay here and I am sure there will be more to come. The place was clean cozy and quiet. The Hosts are simply super people. We especially enjoyed the fireplace. Thanks so much!
The house was beautiful. And the view from the house was even more spectacular. It was the perfect place for our visit to South Dakota. They were extremely accommodating and even gave us some history of the house as well as some information since we are looking to move here in the near future. Cannot recommend this place enough.
The house was just what we needed. Great size and amenities, really great spot for our base. The hosts were amazing and there was a nice surprise for our arrival. Sitting by the bonfire was a nice way to wind down in the evening.
A slice of heaven in the edge of Nemo! This cute little place could be for all ages as there is a yard area to play, porch and deck for sitting, fire pit, and is a spacious quaint farmhouse with dvds and games! The hosts are right there if needed, yet is very private. Plenty of things to do and plenty of suggestions by the hosts!
