This was a perfect home to relax in. The view was spectacular and the living space was just right. The master bed was very comfortable. Better than most hotels I’ve stayed in. Would stay here again,
This is a very cute and cozy place to stay on Lake Okauchee. The location is great. Beautiful sunset over the lake, close to restaurants and Sendiks grocery store. This place had everything we needed.
The property was exactly as described, and we could see that it was set up for whatever season you visit in. We booked on short notice but the communication was good. Even with the short notice the house was clean and comfortable when we arrived, and we would definitely stay again when we are back to visit if it is available. Overall, highly recommend for a family vacation or a fishing trip.
The property has a great deck overlooking the lake with the perfect view of the sunset. It’s clean and perfect for a group looking for a quiet, peaceful lake getaway.
We were very pleased with all the amenities of this property! Communication was fantastic and it met all of our needs and wants! Would love to stay here again when the weather is a bit warmer to fully utilize the property!
Location was great. House was comfortable. The deck boasted a nice view of the lake. Well appointed for a temporary stay. A few housekeeping items that we let the owner know about it.
I stayed at this property the night before and the night of my wedding. It was the most beautiful and relaxing atmosphere that just added to our wedding weekend. Check in and check out was so easy and helped keep the weekend stress free. Thank you so much for memories that will last a life time.
We absolutely loved our stay here. House is very clean and quiet, and had everything we needed for our 1 year old (pack-n-play, baby gate for the stairs). Excellent bluegill fishing off the dock for the kids, bass fishing was an easy paddle away ing the canoe. Hosts were very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend. Would absolutely stay here again if we're back in the area.
The house was in an excellent location. The views were superb, and I enjoyed them constantly! The rooms were very nice, comfortable beds, nice kitchen. It was quite cold the week we were there, so could not enjoy the lake. But we enjoyed the Fireplace!! Thank you for a lovely stay, we will rent this home again.
Location was spectacular. Lake was terrific. One bathroom turned out to not be an issue. If there is one thing that might be improved it would be instructions on how to view local channels on the TV. None of us were able to figure out how to do that...we all have cable or satellite, but this system was an enigma.
We stayed with a 15 month old and ny son/daunter in law. Very spacious, could have eaily had more people with all the sleeping space. Thr deck was gorgeous, it was too chilly for kayak/canoe and we were short on time as we there for a sporting event but would absolutely stay there again. For the fellow coffee drinkers, there is a drip coffee maker so bring your own grind/filters. Great communication from the owners, 5 stars without hesitation.
Cottage is perfext for relaxing with a beautiful lake view. Bedrooms are spacious. One bathroom was challenging, but we made it work. There are a lot of steps, inside and out. A railing from the parking lot to the front door would have been helpful. There is plenty of room to relax in the open concept kitchen/dining/living room space. The deck is amazing! We enjoyed relaxing while taking in the view.

Construction
Property is beautiful, however, major construction is happening next door. Pier & boat dock from neighbors blocking lakefront area and firepit, huge machinery going up & down the hill from 8:00-4:30. Noise awful, workmen parking in rental parking spaces, rental home actually vibrating, construction dust. The list goes on. Owners are lovely, but this property should never have been rented. We left an entire week early.

Our neighbor's construction is now complete. We apologized and made every effort to make the situation acceptable to you. We notified you of a possible disruption before your arrival (the minute we found out from our neighbor) and had no indication that the work would be so intrusive. As you can see from previous reviews, we had other renters just 3 days prior to your rental, and throughout the spring, without any complaints. Again, we apologize - we had no way of knowing the scope or extent of the work being done on our neighbor's property.
