Serenity Now! Welcome to 3 Dog Creekside Cottage. This fully remodeled 1950’s farmhouse sits on 2.5 acres and a rushing creek. The peaceful sound of the water is heard throughout the house, making for a spa-like atmosphere. Large windows bring in tons of natural light and exposure to the stunning grounds. Watch the multitude of native birds visit the feeders. There is a secure privacy fence and fur kids are welcome.

The chef’s kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and any utensil you might desire. Relax by the wood-burning fireplace in the sitting room or read a book on the oversized swing on the back deck as you take in all that nature has to offer…butterflies & hummingbirds abound during the warmer months. The den has plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy a movie or game. The oversized half bath is conveniently located downstairs.

There are multiple options for eating locations including a formal dining room and covered patio. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, a primary with a lovely deck overlooking the water. It boasts a king size bed while the opposite bedroom has a daybed that can be two twins or another king. A pack n play is also available. This home is perfect for couples or families. The shared bathroom is luxurious with a massive walk-in shower and gorgeous views.

We look forward to welcoming you to our newest property in beautiful Murphy, NC. It is easily accessible and about 15 minutes from quaint downtown with great restaurants, shopping, farmers markets and festivals. There are hiking trails all around us and Lakes Nottley and Chatuge are both a short drive. Murphy is perfectly situated 2 hours from Atlanta, Asheville and Chattanooga. It is in close proximity to Blue Ridge, Blairsville and Young Harris GA as well as Hayesville, Warne and Brasstown NC.

Lovely Stay in Murphy

I have been going to that area for about 12 years and this stay was remarkable. Centrally located, beautiful decor, supplies and such a nice space to relax. Amenities were on point and I plan to book again next Fall. Highly recommend!

A magical place

The place was a very magical place, a little piece of heaven in the mountains of Murphy NC we really enjoyed the glider that’s in the gazebo and the front porch swing was wonderful. Our fur babies really enjoyed the backyard that was fenced in and we had breakfast every morning on the patio. We will definitely be looking at this place next year for a week stay

Loved my stay here - an adorable, private oasis in the mountains. Fenced in yard and dog toys were greatly enjoyed by my golden retriever, Henry. Will definitely be back to enjoy the sounds of the creek — hopefully, during cooler weather!

Bubbling Brook

Such a beautiful place. Very clean and very cozy. My favorite spot in this beautiful property was the back porch swing. Cozying up with a fluffy blanket, a cup of coffee and the sound of the bubbling brook gave me the best nap I think I’ve had in my life! So peaceful. Amazing stay and perfect for my birthday get away!!

The location of the property is perfect. We enjoyed our days relaxing on the front porch swing while the dogs explored the yard and played frisbee by the creek. Home was beautiful and well stocked. The bed swing on the back porch and the running creek were wonderful! House does sit right next to the gravel road. More cars than expected in the mornings and afternoons, but just neighbors. Would definitely stay there again!

Tranquil Creekside Oasis

Our stay was so wonderful that we ended up reaching out to the owner to see if we could add an additional night, and the owner was so accommodating (and fast!) in granting our request! This peaceful cottage has been meticulously updated and maintained. It has a cozy yet efficient floorplan with all modernized amenities and is BY FAR the best stocked rental we've ever been in! The property had anything we could have needed including shampoo/conditioner/soap, all kitchen utensils, fireside necessities including marshmallow roasting sticks, and more! The idyllic setting offered privacy and relaxation with the gorgeous running creek, mature trees, flowering gardens, and a plethora of outdoor areas to enjoy nature...we couldn't pick a favorite, although the waterside swing in the gazebo and bed swing on the front porch got a lot of use from us! Everything from the setting to the furniture offered relaxation and comfort. We highly recommend this stay for anyone: our 16 month old and dog even loved it!

Peaceful getaway

This property is the perfect mountain getaway. Extremely peaceful & private. You can't go wrong with a babbling brook, front porch swing & gated yard for the pups! The interior is perfectly appointed & if you love to cook, you'll love the kitchen. The hosts are exceptional & go out of their way to make your stay the absolute best it can be. Our dogs LOVE it here. There's nothing better than knowing the dogs are relaxed too. There's a friendly deer that visits every morning & evening. The dogs & deer became good friends! It's only a few minutes drive to Murphy. You've got to visit. Great people, restaurants & vibe. It's our second stay here & it feels like home... We'll be returning soon...

This cabin is in an ideal spot to unwind, reconnect with nature, and escape the noise of everyday life. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughfully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Excellent location with peaceful creek in back. Loved the firepit. We didn't bring our dogs and found the place to smell like dogs had recently stayed. But it cleared up with opening the windows. Place needs a few repairs but was very comfortable for our needs. Watch out for falling crab apples in the back!

Charming house and stream in a very pleasant setting.

I settled on this rental basically for the stream, and it had the bonus of having a nice house to go along with it. It is nicely remodeled and decorated. It had everything that we wanted, plus they furnished coffee (which i always appreciate). I had my coffee on the balcony each morning while listening to birds and watching deer from the adjoining field make their way down to drink from the stream. We went for walks in the field and discovered a doe and her twins, honeysuckle, blueberries and blackberries, and what appeared to be black cherry and pear trees. The area around the house with all of the shade and the water is cool and peaceful even during the summer. Our family immensely enjoyed playing in the stream. It offers lots of different areas to explore and is the perfect size and swiftness for wading and climbing around on the rocks. The hosts were very responsive. We arrived ahead of schedule and they allowed us to check in early since the house was ready. We had issues with the ac upstairs, but this sounds like it was a fluke and they have addressed the issue.

Serenity Creek Getaway

We had a wonderful stay with all expectations fulfilled! The creek was the peace we needed for a relaxing, peaceful comfort of stresses of the world. All was very comforting. Fantastic!

Absolutely beautiful property and well equipped home. Very clear instructions for checking in and out. Great communication from owners. The beautiful swing on the porch coupled with the babbling creek was my favorite part of this home. Enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife while swinging! We hope to stay here every time we visit the area!
