Get cozy in front of the gas fireplace, or enjoy the ocean breeze from the beach. A comfortable King bed is in the bedroom, but whoever claims the queen bed and sleeper sofa in the living room get nights filled with soothing ocean sounds. There's a bathtub for the little ones after a day at the beach via the easy access staircase, and there's great Wi-Fi as well!

The Space:
221 at D Sands is a 1 bedroom corner suite that offers a group of 6 stunning ocean views, easy beach access, and a full kitchen. Get cozy in front of the gas fireplace, or enjoy the ocean breeze from the beach. A comfortable King bed is in the bedroom, but whoever claims the queen bed and sleeper sofa in the living room get nights filled with soothing ocean sounds. There's a bathtub for the little ones after a day at the beach via the easy access staircase, and there's great Wi-Fi as well!

Guest Access:
The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. The indoor, heated salt water pool and hot tub can be accessed via a Pool Code on the North side of the Office building.

This is a 2nd floor unit, there are 14 steps required to access the unit.

Other Things to Note:
This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.

D Sands Rentals manages all 63 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

A great getaway

This was a great relaxing place to stay! Lots of room to lounge and a balcony to sit on as well.

Good for the price

The view is wonderful! Right on the beach. The condo was clean and adequate. There is a lot of traffic noise since you're right on 101 (nothing they could do about that of course). If we hadn't brought the kids with us we would have just stayed in the livingroom where the view is and no traffic noise. There is minimal supplies for the kitchen. Not even bowls big enough for cereal. The bed in the room was so uncomfortable that we were in more pain as the nights went on. The pool was closed and that was not communicated to use at all. I wish they would have at least given the guests a heads up. We get that stuff happens and you need to close down, but a heads up would have been nice. With all of that said, for the price, especially in the middle of summer, it was a steal. Upgrade the mattress and some kitchen supplies and I'd totally come back.

We're glad to hear you thought the condo was a steal, and we hope you got the full value worth of those amazing ocean views and easy beach access. I'm so sorry to hear you found the bed uncomfortable and the kitchen under supplied. Each of these condos are individually owned, and we only recently took over management and started helping owners improve their condos. While upgrading the mattresses are wholly at the owner's discretion, once we're out of the main busy season, we are going to inventory the kitchen supplies and bring them up to our standards (which it sounds like this unit isn't currently meeting). And we'll pass this review on to the owner so they can consider replacing the mattress. We are sorry about not communicating more effectively about the pool being closed; the professional pool technician gave us an inaccurate date for reopening, and that uncertainty unfortunately impacted our ability to communicate as effectively as we would have liked. We were having to test and take it day by day until things were safe again. The pool is reopen now, and we've update the hours. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review. Even the negative feedback helps us pinpoint where to focus our attention as we work on improving the rooms, and if you stay with us again, you may find another unit is ready to be your new favorite getaway! Thank you again, and we do hope to see you in the future!

I would have rated it a 0. This place is horrible. Especially to veterans. I would NEVER EVER recommend this hotel to anybody especially to veterans. Totally disrespectful.
