Family getaway

We were in town for a family trip and stayed at Juan’s property in Davenport. The home could definitely use some upgrades (which is the ONLY reason for the 4 star review). The host was PHENOMENAL with all communication. Quick to respond and provide help as needed. Went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!! And I’d stay in one of his properties in the future simply based on this! We spent most of our time in the pool, which was immaculate! If you’re looking for a “fancy” property, this isn’t the one. But it’s great for a family getaway.

Just okay

The house is dated and could use some updates. The dishwasher was incredibly loud so we could only use it when we left the house. The water pressure upstairs was an actual joke, I had to use the bathroom downstairs to shower. There was gum stuck between the cushions of the couch. The first night the pak and play was broken so my child could not sleep in it, we had a terrible night. He did replace it late the next day so we didn’t get any naps in the next day either so we didn’t have a very enjoyable second day. There was no instructions on how the house worked. We finally figured out after a couple of night that the heater was on a schedule to drop to 62 in the night. We were all freezing .The only instruction given was to take the trash out Sunday nights. There was no list of items we were expected to provide so we were constantly running to the store when we realized we were out of things, I.e trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, batteries. Overall the house was okay but the experience was not as enjoyable as we would have liked. Would not stay here again.

Great property and location

Plenty of space to spread out, great location and convenient to anything you may need. Very responsive owner that gets back to you right away.
