My guest house is newly remodeled with all new furniture, paint, linens, kitchenware and HVAC. I am an avid photographer and I display a few of my travel photos and fun things that I have picked up around the world. The sheets are heavenly! Washer and dryer included. You have private off-street parking and your own patio as well as access to my idyllic hosta garden patio with soothing night lighting. Despite the fact that this neighborhood is booming, my street is extremely quiet unless bird tweets bother you. The recording studios have been moving nearby from Music Row, and you never know who you might be drinking a beer next to. This area boasts everything from dive bars to gourmet restaurants, many of which are just down on the corner. One Hundred Oaks Mall and theaters are a mile away. We pride ourselves in the number of our ethnic eateries and food trucks as well. My favorite hangout is our fabulous zoo two miles away. Rosie’s Twin Kegs is down the street. There are just too many to mention. There is a community center with outdoor track and indoor pool and gym, plus classes, three blocks away. If you want to experience a different kind of zoo, Broadway’s famous honky tonks are just four miles away! And our new Geodis park is 1.8 miles down the road if you’re a soccer enthusiast. My late husband was a Grammy award winning songwriter and a Songwriters Hall of Fame and TX Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee. He was also a pop star in the ‘60’s. All my friends here are singer/songwriters, so I would love to hook you up with some great authentic local entertainment. I recently retired from 42 years as a Delta flight attendant, and am an avid traveler, so if you want travel tips I am happy to share.
