About this property
Beautiful Historic GOTL Lake Erie Summer Home
Relax, unwind, and enjoy Lake Life at our classic Lake Erie summer home. This historic Geneva-on-the-Lake house with lake views was built in 1948, has tons of vintage charm, but is freshly remodeled, meticulously curated and fully appointed to make your stay at the lake truly special.
Our beautifully maintained three bedroom house sleeps 10 and is the perfect spot for a ladies` weekend, bachelorette party, trip with friends, a couples retreat or family getaway to the Lake.
Enjoy sunny afternoons on our breezy glassed/screened porch and watch the sun set over Lake Erie from the porch, the house, or our outdoor seating area!
On the first floor, you will find a large living room with Lake views, ample seating, flat screen TV for streaming, and a game cabinet filled with board games and books. There is a single pull out bed as well as a queen sized pull out sofa.
The Lake view dining room has a table that seats 6, and there is additional dining space for 4 on the front porch.
The kitchen is fully equipped with ample cookware, dishes and cutlery. It is stocked with glassware and barware, and even melamine dishes for outdoor use. There is an antique farmers sink and gas stove, as well as a dishwasher, side by side refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and grinder, air fryer, and toaster. We also provide a complimentary coffee and tea set up for your enjoyment during your stay.
The upstairs houses three spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom with a tub and shower. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, and the guest room has a full bed. The third bedroom, a traditional Lake House bunk room, has three twin beds, one of which is a trundle.
All bed and bath linens are provided, including a basket of Turkish Cotton beach towels for your use during your time at the lake.
The house is equipped with four portable, in room air AC units, as well as large fans in each room.
Outside you will find outdoor furniture for relaxing, a picnic table and charcoal grill, and a fire pit.
If you are planning on visiting the Lake with a group larger than 10, and would like to book more than one Cottage, please be in touch! In addition to the house we have 4 wonderful, smaller Cottages on the property and can accommodate up to 31, availability permitting.
Entire house with yard and outdoor seating and grill, access to shared courtyard with fire pit.
Host will not be on site but is always available by text or phone.
Located on the western side of GOTL, directly across the road from Lake Erie, the house is just a half mile walk to the strip, and a third of a mile from the beautiful walking and biking path that winds along the lakeshore, through the marina and on to the public beach. Close to Spire, Breakwater Beach, as well as local wineries.
Parking is limited on the property and in GOTL in general. Golf carts and bicycles are available on the strip to rent and are a great way to get around. Many of the area wineries provide a shuttle, and there is even a golf cart taxi service to shuttle you to and from the Strip!
Please note that you will have several steps up into the house and that the only bathroom is up an additional flight of stairs to the second floor.
We ask that you limit yourself to as few vehicles as possible, as parking on the property is limited. You will have space for three vehicles when staying at the house, if you park the vehicles in a single file line. Additional parking is available nearby on the Strip. The Driveway of the house shares parking with Cottage #4. Parking at the property, and in Geneva on the lake in general, is tight . We will allow parking for three cars at the house, but know that the cars will be parked in a line, with cars parked in front of and behind each other. It is advisable to limit the number of cars that you bring to simplify the situation. House driveway shares parking with cottage #4.

Charming cottage! Close to all the attractions in Geneva. Well stocked kitchen, beach towels, charging location for golf carts. Our group had two families and we also rented cottage #1. It was excellent.
Our experience at Kelly's place was amazing! She was very accommodating and a great host. The house was also beautiful and in a great location. Will definitely be back!
great location and house space. loved the porch, living room area, and large windows out to shared lawn and lake. The property is very well taken care of and clean.
Location - perfect (far enough from the strip to be peaceful but close enough to walk). Host - very responsive and friendly. Property - very clean, well stocked, parking was easy. Pictures and property description are accurate. Perfect for a family or very close friends.
Lovely and comfortable home with plenty of amenities and sundries to ease the strain of being away from home. Convenient location close to the Geneva on the lake lodge, the strip, and the state park. Great venue for a family reunion brunch with many relatives who were staying in the area. The back porch and back yard were perfect for this. The host was very gracious.
We had 9 during part of our stay and there was plenty of room but with one bathroom it was busy in the mornings. Great location well within walking distance of most things. Worked out great for our family reunion and we also had family members in two of the cottages behind the house.
Everything was wonderful and well prepared with what we needed. We thought it would be cool to have a larger family get together by also using the cottages!
The house was exactly as listed and beautifully decorated, My kids all said that they wanted to live there. The view from the front windows was nice. The house was so stocked with kitchen items, toiletries, games, beach towels etc.. that i wish i actually forgot to pack something. I wasnt crazy about the strip but would return just to
stay in the house and visit the lake.

Well stocked and prepared. We had six kids and four adults, and the house was great. The only issue, and it's our fault, not the property, was that bathroom was probably not enough for a group of that size. We made it work. Some of the locks were a little janky. With the age of the house, it was expected. It's in a really good condition and in a great location. If you want to do the GOTL experience, this is a solid place to stay.
This cute house was the perfect location! The only drawback for us was that there was not central AC, but multiple large in-room units that were a little loud when running. One upstairs room did not have a unit, so someone opted to sleep downstairs because it remained quite hot. Probably usually wouldn’t be an issue, but we were there for a 90 degree weekend. Thanks for a great place to stay the weekend!
We are a third and fourth generation Geneva-on-the-Lake family who recently bought and fully renovated our dream property in our happy place. We would love to share it, and all the Lake has to offer, with your family! We live in the nearby college town of Kent, and love to get away to the Lake.
Why they chose this property
There is something about this beautiful house! It is simply soaked with summertime, relax at the lake vibes, you can feel it as soon as you walk in! Plenty of space to spread out, both inside the house, and out on the porch or in the yard.
What makes this property unique
Great location across the street from the lake with beautiful sunset views and cool breezes. Walkable to all Gotl attractions, but in a quiet neighborhood filled with summer residents, away from the noise and busyness of the strip. Short walk from the marina and public beach.
