We had a great stay at this venue.
It was a last-minute reservation and had everything we needed. It was a nice place to stay and we would recommend it to others.
Our group very much enjoyed our stay here. Nice home with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable furnishings. I appreciated that it feels actually lived-in in the best sense, not a generic vacation rental that only guests stay at, very comfortable.
This was the perfect place to stay for our family to enjoy time together and time hiking in the many trails we found nearby. The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back!
Wonderful location, easy family space and refuge while sightseeing and hiking the Olympic National Park. Woking with owner way timely and respectful. Would definitely reccomend!
This house was perfect for our visit to Washington. The house was clean and well stocked. The rooms were cozy and the host was very responsive and welcoming. This was a great location to get to Olympic national park and the neighborhood has beautiful mountain lakes . We would love to visit again sometime!
Nice area, quiet neighborhood. Well stocked house. Worked great as a base for exploring the area. We spent a lot of time at Olympic Nat. Park. It was a further drive than we had anticipated to some of the Olympic sites but we enjoyed the area. Our adult kids kayaked and really liked that. There isn’t a view of the bay in the summer but we enjoyed sitting in the swing outside. Overall a good place to stay.
The house is exactly as pictured. The home is very clean and well stocked. Dale was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The location of the home is just outside the Staircase entrance to Olympic National Park (about a 30 minute drive). We were able to use this property as a home base to explore most of the ONP.

We had a fantastic trip. Locally check out Hamma Hamma Saloon for incredible beach front oysters and seafood. The Good sport Grocery store and Ace has everything you need at reasonable prices. Hoodsport Coffee Co and Olympic Ice Cream are yummy places to check out as well.
This home is nestled in the woods near lakes Kokanee and Chushman. A close drive away from Hood Canal and Hama Hama Oyster Company.
The home is very well appointed and comfortable. The host was very communicative and the complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch! A binder full of local information was very helpful as well.
We will rent this place again in a heart beat!
We just finished our week-long stay and could not be happier. The house had everything we needed and then some. The location was perfect for both a trip to the coast and a drive up to the north entrance of Olympic National Park, and the lake pass was used for swimming every day. We took several beautiful and challenging hikes very close to the house. Highly recommend this property!
We had the pleasure of staying at this property for a week. The house was roomy, nicely decorated, and stocked with plenty of local tour guide books and games. The kitchen provided more than what we needed for cooking our dinners every night. The property is close to the Staircase entrance of Olympic National Park (ONP). We also enjoyed several awesome but streneous hikes in the Olympic National Forest nearby. We were able to enjoy a pass to use the private access to Lake Cushman. During the week there was hardly anyone at the Lake. We are grateful to the property owner for allowing us to borrow his kayak. The kids had a blast at the Lake. The property is located on a double lot in a very quiet neighborhood and it is great place to get away, enjoy the Lake and the Park and relax.
