Located in the Treetop Villas community in the desirable South Forest Beach neighborhood, this updated three-bedroom condo offers a relaxing getaway with a spacious living area, a pristine, modern kitchen, and a private balcony surrounded by mature oaks. Enjoy sunny days at the three on-site pools, one of which is just outside the front door. You're just a few short blocks from the gorgeous South Forest Beach via a dedicated walking path, and don't forget to bring the beach chairs, collapsible beach cart, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys and coolers, available for your use. Additional on-site amenities include tennis courts and a lagoon, and you’re also near Coligny Beach Park or Coligny Plaza, with lots of shops, dining, and entertainment.

Inside the condo, you’ll find a bright, beachy living space spread over three levels. The main bedroom suite occupies the entire top floor, with two additional bedrooms downstairs. The vaulted ceilings make the shared living space on the middle floor feel even larger, and the triple set of doors out to the balcony let in lots of natural light. The open floor plan combines the dining and living spaces, and the large table is perfect for a family dinner. A new washer/dryer just off the kitchen offers added convenience. Entertainment options include free WiFi, cable, and four TVs - one in the living room and one in each bedroom.

Schedule a tee time at one of the prominent golf courses in the area, make plans for a deep-sea fishing excursion, or just relax at the beach or pool. No matter how you spend your time, you’ll look forward to returning to your cozy home base at the end of each fun-filled day.

Great family vacation at the Treetops!

We had an amazing time at the Treetops. The unit is clean, well maintained, and right by the pool. We loved the proximity to the beach and Coligny! Loved that they had a beach cart, umbrella, and chairs all ready for us to use. We will definitely be back!

Great location and cleanliness! Unit was close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Small details of unit such as a screen door to outside balcony, a normal coffee appliance would have made this even better. Overall, a great stay!

Not Exactly What We Expected

Here we go. First and foremost, we originally DID NOT plan to stay in Treetops. We expected to stay elsewhere in Hilton Head, but due to the magic of computer errors, the "pet friendly" villa that we originally booked turned out to be "not pet friendly". Vacasa was attempting to "make it right", even though it may not have been their issue to resolve. And I appreciate that. So we are at Treetops. Let's start with the unit itself. It is a 3 story unit with a lot of stairs. If stairs are not your thing, beware. Upon entry, there are 2 bedrooms and a full bath off to the left. Both bedrooms are very nice and of decent size. The bath is clean and updated. Up a flight of stairs to the main level where the kitchen, dining room, powder room, small deck and living room are located. All spacious enough, comfortable and nicely decorated. Then up another flight of stairs to the master suite. The only room on this level. Again, it was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was updated and more than adequate. Generally, the unit is nicely updated and was clean and attractive. The amenities included were great...many beach chairs, a wagon for hauling stuff to and from, boogie boards, etc. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything you would need to put a "vacation meal" together. The one thing missing from the kitchen that I noticed was a broiler pan...so I had to improvise to cook our steaks. The quantity of tp, soap, dishwasher soap, detergent and Kleenex left for us was generous. The biggest complaint I have about the unit itself (other than the steps) is that the HVAC system was extremely loud...like "freight train" loud. Fortunately, we were there in late September, so at night we turned the units off (simply had them available to run, as needed, during the day when we were not there). You would not have the option in June, July or August. There are 2 HVAC units...one for the main floor and one for the second level, so that is nice. Again, as mentioned above, this is a 3 story unit, so there are lots of stairs. One last item to mention is that the stairwell is somewhat narrow...so carrying up provisions and large suitcases can be awkward. So now, the resort in general. The Treetops community is ok. To get to our 3 story unit, we had to climb yet another set of stairs to an elevated boardwalk PLUS another 1/2 flight of steps to the landing to enter. Lots of stairs. There is an elevator to get you from the ground to the boardwalk, but we didn't find that until after we were moved in. The overall condition of the Treetops community was just ok. There were many units that did not fit the "upscale" image of Hilton Head (I'm being nice here). Several patios and decks were crowded with junk and what looked like rubbish or nothing worth keeping. Many other units were fine. The elevated board walk was being pressure washed/cleaned and many parts and pieces were being replaced with new lumber. Hopefully, they will continue the project and re-paint all of it. It was VERY MUCH needed. The community pools were very nice, and nicely sized and appeared clean, although we did not use them. Access to the beach was pretty easy, but it was not well displayed or documented. There is a trail between Treetops and the (next door) church that takes you directly to the beach, crossing S. Forrest Beach Rd. It's a very easy and relatively short walk, with only one road to cross. A nice plus. This would easily be 5 stars if the HVAC were quiet and there were not so many stairs to climb and the "community" in general was a little more upscale. All in all, it was "ok"; but I've been coming to HHI since the 70's and know of other places I'd stay before booking here again. One last thing I will m...
