Recently renovated throughout, this villa offers the perfect blend of luxury and casual island living. Spread out in the open floorplan where you can whip up your favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen, dine together at the adjacent table for six, and then meet up in the sunlit and inviting living area with beautiful furnishings and a wall-mounted, flatscreen TV for streaming all your favorite shows and movies. You'll also enjoy high-speed internet access, central air conditioning, a desk and chair in one of the guest rooms for remote work or schooling, and a private washer/dryer. Out back, this home offers a furnished patio and a gas grill for summertime cookouts! And if you want to cool off close to home, the sparkling shared pool is just 50 yards from your door!

Convenient for our stay. We were in visiting family and friends and only were in the condo to sleep. It was clean, quiet, and spacious. Parking was easy and staff was readily available for our needs. Any concerns that came up were quickly remedied.

Clean location, convenient. Set up was nice with all bedrooms upstairs and living space downstairs. Quiet area - no loud noise issues. Parking was easy. We weren’t there much on our vacation as we were visiting friends and family in the area, but the rental was a great place to sleep and hang out when we were there.

FISHING AND GOLFING TRIP

Location was excellent for both fishing and golfing. Close to restaurants as well. Townhome clean but dated. Blinds couldn't be opened and missing several slats. Only one parking spot, so have to fight for a guest spot if you bring a second vehicle.

The beach is easily accessible if you are able to walk about 1/2 mile. Public access ended up being much closer than private access. The location was good in the house has everything you need. It served its purpose, but I’m not sure that we would stay there again. The master bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky every time we moved. We didn’t have enough toilet paper or trash bags, which was disappointing considering there were six of us staying for a week and we only had one roll per bathroom and 1 extra trash bag.

The arrival was a little wonky- we never received a text that unit was ready. We tried to inquire and kept getting a no early check in- this was 30 minutes after our given check in of 4:00 pm. That was the only glitch…. Minor at that!

Beach was closed

It was not disclosed that the beach was closed until after we booked and at that point it was too late to cancel. Carpet was a hot mess so i had to go buy carpet spot cleaner because i couldn't stand the mess. That is my fault since i am a very ocd house cleaner. Otherwise the property was clean. The neighbors had Ring servelance that warned us they was recording us if we got across the line. A bit unsettling. Overall we did have a good time but probably will not rent the same unit again.

We did not get to stay at the property. The electronic door lock was malfunctioning. The property manager was very responsive and attempted to send new codes, however none of them worked. I believe maintenance eventually came to replace the lock.Since it was already 11pm when we arrived and needed to be up very early, we had to find other lodging. We were contacted apologetically regarding the incident and are awaiting a refund..I appreciated the kindness and responsiveness of everyone with whom we have spoken at Vacasa.

Location was excellent and the unit fit seven family members easily. Unit floor was dirty.

Recommend - sofa bed was broken, upholstery was stained and dirty as was carpeting. Flushing of toilets and running wash machine caused a gurgling in kitchen sink. Lack of glasses and Mixing bowls. Upstairs windows filthy.

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed staying here. It’s about a 3-5 minute walk to the beach. The porch at the front door was covered with sand and leaves so unfortunately it was carried inside the condo and we were not able to find a vacuum cleaner. We used a broom to clean it as much as we could. We did have to go 24 hours listening to thumping that sounded like someone hitting the wall. We were not able to get in contact with someone until the further day. We did text and called the 800 number that was provided. We assumed it was water lines that had busted or had air in the lines. It was hard to sleep the day/night that occurred. Someone did take care of the issue later on the following day. The neighbors said they heard it as well but there is no on site manager to help with any issues so this is something that needs to be a little more thought out incase of a bad emergency happens at or to the condo while staying there. Pictures look just like the condo so we had no issues there. We really liked that they had a beach wagon and a few beach chairs in the closet even though we had packed our own. Over all we rate the place a 7/10

Rest and relax at this amazing Hilton Head condo with your pets

Stones Throw is nestled in a nice wooded area that less than a 10 minute walk to Folly Field beach. This condo is very clean, great bedrooms, and comfortable. The condo provided everything we need for a relaxing get away from home. We had our two dogs and this area was great for them as well. Stones Throw is quiet and relaxing. You can use the sidewalks to walk to Folly Field beach which has clean and beautiful sand. We give it a 10 out of 10. We would stay here again!

GREAT LOCATION

Nice location and walking distance to beach . We checked in and was instructed to use a code. Tried 3 times and had to call company which gave us 3 more codes..it was raining and wasnt too happy. The back of the house which you enter. Not very appealing at all, dirty chairs and tables, took the grill cover off to take a look and it was left in a disgusting state, not sure who is responsible so we never used it, the kitcken window was filthy with grease! The house was very clean, we were left 1 cheap toilet roll for the bathrooms so had to buy more, plenty diswasher tabs and washing machine tabs although I did take my own. The socket for the toaster on the wall was damaged and practically hanging off. Bedrooms fully stocked with clean linin and towels but unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable for 7 nights. Apart from the negative, the house was nice, very quiet and had a small pool. Right outside on the road there is a bus that takes you round the island and its free and runs every 30 mins. Probably wouldnt stop again but we did enjoy the location.

The condo was in great shape. Short walk to the beach. The development was quiet. Property manager made it clear they would be there to fix any problems but I didnt have to. I would definitely come back to this condo and would recommend it.
