The cabin is uniquely placed alongside a private gravel lane just a short drive from Salt Fork State Park and sits on a little over 2.5 acres. Listen to the creek below and the song birds as you sit on the huge wrap around deck or front porch. Wooly Bear Retreat offers peace, seclusion, and a very high quality, upscale experience. This cabin was just built and is now ready for guests.

Fabulous!

Cabin and surrounding area is beautiful. Quiet, secluded cabin on very quiet gravel road, easy drive to Salt Fork. Has every amenity you will need. Joe’s kindness, responsiveness and hospitality will ensure this property stays booked. Excellent attention to detail. Joe knows what he’s doing!

Quiet Weekend Getaway

The cabin was perfect for our getaway--very clean, quiet & secluded. We enjoyed sitting on the front & back porch areas, drinking our coffee, or eating our breakfast, lunch dinners plus having the use of a fire pit--wish we'd made s'mores! The refrigerator was very well stocked with water bottles, which we used to make several pots of coffee each morning!! Other basic amenities were very adequate also. We were glad to be able to cook our own food there. We only ventured away from the cabin to go enjoy The Living Word Outdoor Drama in nearby Cambridge, OH. We truly enjoyed our peaceful getaway especially made more memorable by the gorgeous fall weather! Joe was a very gracious host, funny too!

Secluded was a plus. Sat tv was hit and miss. Hot water was minimal for 2 showers. No heat for chilly mornings. Very clean! Host communicated well. A tv in loft would be nice
