Please be aware this is a 600 square feet, one bedroom cottage and it is connected to a second unit that has a separate entrance. The hot tub is exclusively used by guests in "My Happy Place."

Great Short Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very nice and just the right size for my husband and I. Even though there were houses between is and the lake the views from the balcony were nice. We spent late evenings and mornings on the deck. Would stay there again.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I. The space was very clean and had all we needed. The view was beautiful from the deck and the hot tub was great durning the cold nights. Serene Getaway

My husband and I decided to do a local staycation and could not have found a better place. The property was clean, quiet, and located close to the lake and other entertainment. The owner checked in with us regularly to make sure we were happy and even gave us suggestions for dinner (both were great!). I would highly recommend this little slice of happy to anyone looking!

Perfect getaway

This property was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was quiet, clean and well-stocked with the needed kitchen utensils and appliances. The best part of this property was relaxing in the hot tub after a day of golf then cuddling up in the amazing robes that were provided. Morning coffee on the deck while watching the boats launch from the boat dock was an added bonus. A perfect getaway for two!

Our Halloween stay at Land between the Lakes

It was a very nice and clean house. The big house was also beautiful. The area was just amazing. Loved the lake. Loved going out and watching the wildlife. The deer were everywhere. The only problem was that the hot tub would not get hot. But the property owner did give us a 50 dollar refund. Overall I give it a 9 1/2 just because we didn't get to use the hot tub. I would recommend this property to everyone.

Works well for two

Property was cute. It worked well for two people only. The kitchen was great. I have nothing bad to say about it other than the bed was very uncomfortable. We could feel the springs of the bed in our backs. The hot tub was the main reason we booked this property and it was disappointing that the jets were outside of the water. The water was very very low.

Couples Stay

Wonderful stay! We had a great time exploring the area. My Happy Place is just as described and Ron was wonderful to communicate with. It was extra nice having such a large kitchen to work in. When we arrived the hot tub was in "vacation mode" and the temperature was only 75*, but the directions on how to fix that are on the refrigerator and were easy to follow. The hot tub got up to temp in a few hours, so don't let that intimidate you! The television is not a smart TV, not a deal breaker, but something that was a little unusual to us. If you have a show you're watching or a service you're used to streaming, travel with a Roku stick if you want to have access to those things. We would definitely stay again!

Great area, nice and clean!

Location is great! Host responds quickly. GREAT KITCHEN if you love to cook like me. Don’t expect a lot of room. It’s a tight squeeze from getting in the bed to sitting on the couch. It’s also connect to a big house so I kinda felt I was in someone’s upstairs. Make sure you can climb steps. Over all we had a great stay despite the hot tub only working the first night and my 5 year old falling down the steps onto the rocks. We seen probably 20 deer over 2 days in the woods right before entering the subdivision. Close to a grocery store and fast food.
