In Eddyville's serene haven, a captivating three-bedroom retreat offers breathtaking lake vistas and limitless opportunities for exploration. Just a short walk from the serene shores of Lake Barkley and the Cumberland River, you'll find endless opportunities to relax, explore, and create unforgettable memories.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and all the necessary appliances to whip up delicious meals. Unwind by the cozy fireplace or enjoy a movie night on the smart TV with satellite/cable channels. Refresh in the two bathrooms, complete with towels and take advantage of the in-unit washer and dryer. And Lucky Lake now has Fiber Internet!!!

The drive is steep so no trailers can be taken down it but there is plenty of parking for trailers at the top. You are in a valley and it is private with deer, birds and other wildlife passing through. There is an outdoor shower and a fire pit.

Lucky Lake House is on McNabb Bay which is essentially half way between Prizer Point Marina and Eddy Creek Marina. Mineral Mounds State Park and great golf course is just up the road. If the core of engineers has dropped the water out of the lake Dryden Creek Boat Ramp is less than a mile from Lucky Lake house and very convenient.

Eddyville has Venture River Family Water Park and Cadiz has many antique shops to explore.

Great week at the lake

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Property was perfect for our needs with a covered dock for the boat, room for the dog to run and a nice home with newer appliances and a large grill with places to relax both inside and out.

Relaxing Stay

This is our new favorite place. The house was clean and homey, the grounds are lovely, and we enjoyed the ease of having our boat in the private dock and coming back and forth. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay in the lake house. It was spacious with a large desk overlooking the yard with deer, squirrels, and lots of birds. Beds and other facilities were great!

Great Place to Relax with Family!

Our family stayed here for a week and had a great time! The property had everything we needed plus more! We enjoyed fishing down at the rock just about every day and we loved the small jon boat and kayaks! The house itself was great and provided plenty of beds for the whole family and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the week! Thanks for a great stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away for a while!

The lake house came as advertised. Peace and tranquility on the water. Property offered plenty of land to stretch out on. Very private. Although the water level was low, managed to get in a swim. Nice area. Very much liked that it is dog friendly.

Great Time

My wife and our pups enjoyed our stay at the lake house. We hiked in the state parks and spent some time fishing from pier. Thanks for letting our family share your lakefront property!

We really enjoyed our stay. We saw deer every day along with other wildlife. The house is away from others so you have privacy. The driveway is a little scary but you get used to it. I would stay here again.

We so enjoyed our stay at this location. It is located in a great area. The wooded grounds, fire pit, dock and outdoor lighting was beautiful. Cabin was very cozy with everything you needed. Thank you for a great visit. (Husband recommends a new grill).

Thanksgiving on the Lake

Had a nice quiet stay on the lake. Saw three deer each morning. Caught a bunch of fish down on the lake. Peaceful and relaxing.

Private - Wonderful Place to Stay

This place is so private and very nice. Has everything you would need. The boat dock is a plus! The boat ramp is only 1.5 miles away at Dryden Boat Ramp. When water level is up you can leave your boat at the dock. Perfect for a family or for a girls trip! The host is AWESOME....she is fantistic to communicate with! Any questions you might have....she will respoind asap! We will come back again! Loved the place (otherthan the very very steep hill to get to it!) BUT worth it! Take your boat hitch off, or you will drag when going back up the hill!

Great Location !

Clean House, Had all the cooking utensils, nice coffee maker, Kitchen was in great shape, No Smells at all, Water Pressure was great and Hot Showers, Lake was really beautiful and bay area was really calm, Boat Dock has power to charge any tiller motors, kayaks worked great, there is space near road for parking trailers, 1st time down the driveway was a littler nervous but you get used to it. Enough room for more than 2 cars ( I even backed our 12' Cargo Trailer down the driveway ), Area was nice and only 10 min away from Gas Station or Dollar Generals, Really Quiet area, Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house, our daytrips to land between the lakes and fishing at a near by boat ramp. While the dock at the lake house is mostly out of the water due to winter pool, it was still lovely to walk down and be next to the lake. In the spring and summer the fishing is probably spectacular.

Private and Peaceful

We had a great time. We lucked out and the weather was in the mid 70s/low 80s for our two nights in late June, so we spent the majority of our time out on the big deck. The interior was perfect for our group of four adults. It kind of felt like being on a space ship going up that driveway. LOL

Perfect Lakehouse Vacation

Luck Lakehouse was the perfect getaway for our family. The house was spotless, plenty of sleeping space, with a beautiful deck that looks out onto serene, private property and the lake. There is plenty of wildlife to enjoy watching. The dock was great to fish off of and the quiet cove was the perfect place to float on rafts and relax with your favorite beverage. The kayaks were an additional perk. Pamela was amazing to work with; very quick to respond. Make Lucky Lakehouse your vacation spot, you will love it.

Private lake house with dock

Loved the private, peaceful setting of this lake house in quiet neighborhood of nice homes. Very close to a public boat launch. My husband even caught some fish despite it being early August. The dock is a great place to view the sunset and we even saw the bats flying around one night. Definitely the steepest driveway I've ever seen, but ok in the Summer. Found excellent food at both the Willow Pond and the Fishin Hole. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great Getaway Weekend

If you’re looking for a place with family fun and fishing, this is the place for you. The fishing dock was great, kayak, and paddle board was perfect for the kids. The grill was wonderful, so were the big beautiful porches, with plenty of seating. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores and the privacy and location was absolutely amazing. The beds slept great, plenty of linens and towels. Very well equipped for our stay. The only downside was crossing to get to the dock, you had to go through the water to get to it, which is shown in the pictures, but still a hassle. The first day it was fine, but definitely got old by day 3. We caught catfish, sunfish, and bass from the dock, which was wonderful. We would definitely rent this beautiful place again, we made great memories.

I love all water activities and currently spend time in KY, IN, TN or FL. I am always doing something on or near water and the lake is one of my favorite getaway places. No crowds, no traffic, and only the sounds of boats or fish jumping on my hook.

Why they chose this property

Lucky Lake House was purchased in 2002. The goal was to find a place that was on the lake, had a dock, had privacy and wasn't so large that it would take a day to clean. When we saw the for sale sign at the top of the hill but could not see the house a good feeling came into my heart. The realtor said some where afraid of the steep drive and I thought 'there are tons of steep drives around here' but none that has such a great place at the bottom of the hill.
