I had a great time staying here. The room was clean and spacious. The host was fantastic and very good about getting me the check in info. Also, the property being right across the road from Itasca State Park was great and very convenient.

Excellent place to stay, just a few minutes from the north entrance to the park, as described . Very close to the headwaters and the Lake Itasca swimming beach. The host is lovely. Very comfy and cozy, quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the room very much. Exceedingly clean and neat. Smooth, hard surfaced floors with furniture that gave the feeling of spaciousness. The location is great! About a mile from the north entrance to Itasca. We met the host and she was gracious and helpful. We highly recommend this place.

Great stay!

This was a great place to unwind after a day out in Itasca. Clean, cozy and private without being secluded. Friendly hosts with delicious ice cream, they even add a cherry on top!

Family Get Away

My family and I enjoyed our stay and loved how close it was to the park and long lake! It was clean and the property manager was readily available to answer any and all questions! We will hopefully be able to book our stay here again for next year!

Nice property

Rented a room at Big Timbers to attend a wedding in Itasca State park. Loved the proximity to the park and the room was lovely. Clean, updated, quiet and an ice cream shop next door. Would stay again.

Little Motel

This was the perfect location for our stay in upper Minnesota. The little motel is clean and modern with a log cabin feel. This is our second stay here and we tried a different room, which was also lovely. We would definitely stay again@

This property was very clean, new and nice. The owners were very accommodating to answer questions and provide extra items in the rooms. The proximity to Itasca State Park was convenient. I would definately stay here again!
