Property was very convenient for going to and from Auburn for a wedding and wedding related events we were attending. Kitchen was stocked with the dishes and items needed for basic cooking, which was helpful. Backyard and backyard views were peaceful, to look out at the water. Communication with owner was positive.

A Cozy Getaway in the City

This house by the lake was perfect for our quick trip to Seattle area. The house has nice finishes and very comfy beds. The outdoor space is awesome and being able to walk down to the water was extra nice. Definitely felt more like a vacation getaway !

Beautiful property!

We stayed here for 3 nights…the location was right between Seattle and Tacoma for easy access to the events we needed to attend jn both cities. The lake view is beautiful, and the house is very nicely updated. Loved the shower and beds were super comfortable. We will definitely be booking again!!

Star Lake home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this great property! It was a perfect location for everything we wanted to do! The home was equipped with most everything we needed and Alex was great at getting back to us in a timely manner. We didn’t have any issues while we were there and my husband enjoyed waking up and fishing every morning!

Quiet and Peaceful Lake House

We enjoyed our stay in this modern, clean and peaceful lake house. Enjoyed the scenic views and the cozy atmosphere. The house was well equipped for basic needs. Alex was a responsive host. Hope to stay here again someday. Highly recommend.

Great Stay

The house was very clean and easy to find. The access to the lake is easy and very refreshing. We would definitely stay here again but would bring some of our own kitchen utensils (steak knifes, tinfoil, ziplocks) as the house is a little lacking in the department and we cooked meals. Alex was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall a great stay!!

Great spot!

We stayed here for a week and it was a great, central location for day trips to Seattle, Tacoma, ferry rides, and even Canada. It’s clean and accurately listed. And also has a charcoal grill for use, along with basic kitchen utensils. It had everything we needed, and we enjoyed mornings on the deck looking at the lake.

Wonderful Stay

The house was really great. It was clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family and it was nice to be able to cook and wash clothes. It was great to have access to the lake and it was really fun to take the kayak out on the water. The owner was always very quick to respond to questions which was great. The only thing that I would recommend would be blinds to cover the sliding glass doors so you could close those at night.

Nice location, clean place

The location worked great for us. The place was nice and peaceful being on water. FYI for those looking for a fully stocked kitchen, this place had only a few pots/pans for cooking needs and nothing beyond salt/pepper (so bring any oil, spices, condiments, etc.). Easy to get into and good communication with host. The master shower was very slow to drain, left us standing in water but notified host and should be addressed.

Lovely Home

My daughters and I enjoyed staying at this charming lake house in Seattle it was a delightful experience. Although the house was small, the location was absolutely perfect. The property was modern and had been recently updated, making it very comfortable. The lake itself was stunning, and having kayaks available was a fantastic touch. It’s an ideal vacation home for small families looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. My only recommendation would be to provide speakers for guests to listen to music. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Beyond Relaxing

This property is stunning and charming! The home is extremely clean with amazing amenities like a washer and dryer, dishwasher, outdoor grille, canoe with life vest, electronic fireplace, hangers and gorgeous views of the lake. The only reason for a 4 star rating is because there’s no ice or running drinking water, and honestly the photos should be updated because it looks even better in person. Thank you Alex!

Guest violated house rules.. Reservation was canceled at approximately midnight and guest was asked to vacate the property. Sheriff was called by Neighbour brake up the party. Guest made reservation for total of one guest: on reservation, guest end it up with over 50 visitors. Below is a text message received from the neighbor. “Sheriff cleared them out around midnight. My husband lost count after 53 people walked out of the house. The entire road had cars parked along it. It was crazy.”

The host was very responsive, however the main shower didn’t drain so five people had to share the other bathroom to shower. Also, the third bedroom in the basement had no heat so was unusable. And there were only 7 clothes hangers in the house, no dressers and only 1 night stand in each room. So it could be a really nice place if it was more comfortable.

Shower Not Draining Once we received your notice about the slow-draining shower, we responded within 15 minutes and arranged for our cleaning contractor to visit the house. When the contractor arrived, no one was home. We notified you, and your response indicated that you were not aware access needed to be provided, with no further communication from you we assumed the issue was no longer a concern. 2. Third Bedroom Comment Regarding your comment about a “third bedroom in the basement,” as stated in our listing, all three bedrooms are on the main floor. The downstairs area is a recreational space with its own access, and central heating, as described in the property details. 3. Clothing Hangers Each bedroom closet is supplied with hangers. If additional hangers were needed, we would have been more than happy to provide them upon request; however, no such request was received. We take great pride in what we do, and we are sorry that we fell short of meeting your expectations during this stay. Sincerely, Alex White

Work Trip in Seattle

I travel often for work and in the summers, with my wife being a teacher, like to take her and the kids with me. We found this house after quite a lengthy search on both the site I’m not allowed to mention and Vrbo. We’re glad we took our time to decide and choose this house. Alex’s house had everything we needed to make this work/family trip feel like we never left our house. The rooms were big, the house was clean, and the views were fantastic. The weather cleared up enough the last couple days and allowed us to get on the lake with the kayak, which the kids loved. Coming from the LA area, we enjoyed both the rainy weather and getting on the water when the clouds broke. The house was close by shopping, dining, and a short drive to DT Seattle. I’ll be on this project for the next couple years and can’t wait to stay here again. Thank you Alex for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!
