This is such a great place to stay! It's nicely tucked up in the trees and feels like a mountain retreat, but still close enough to downtown to get to experience the city of Asheville as well!
We brought our 2 dogs and they were right at home and loved hanging out on the deck. Definitely a great find!
House is located just outside city in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. Roomy 3 bedroom and 2 baths were perfect for our 3-person friend’s getaway. Especially loved morning coffee on the deck. The house was immaculate and easy to get to. All the essentials and more were provided. Would highly recommended this property.
Size of home was very comfortable and accommodating for a family of 5. 2 adult couples and one teenager. Location to Asheville and surroundings attractions was great. Although there was a home at the bottom of the hill that was a little loud late into the evening and early morning. I would rate the cleanliness of the property fair. Although we did come across mouse droppings and a roach. You are in the middle of the woods, so things such as that can be expected. The comfort of furniture was fair. The couch in the living room was a little uncomfortable, and the master bedroom bed was rather close to the ground, and soft. Also, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom does not function.
House was just as advertised and Jillian was an excellent communicator regarding any questions. The stay was just what the doctor ordered. A small note not regarding the property; Asheville is incredibly crowded during this week. Thanks again.
The beds in the immaculate bedrooms, and the linens, were top notch. So comfy. The house is very very quiet--a perfect refuge. Great water pressure in the showers, nicely appointed kitchen, cute decor (not too much, tasteful prints), soft towels and great seating areas. Perfectly positioned for All Things Asheville.
The beds were very comfortable - loads of fresh towels. The driveway is steep, with a scary drop-off, which was clearly listed, so it was not unexpected. Did not realize it was a shared house - the lower section had tenants, but they were respectful. I watered all the plants, which were on the verge of dying, and the house needs a blender and mixer. Other than that, it was quiet and very comfortable.
Great communication with host. Didn't realize there was a lower unit that is also rented out but no issues with the tenants. Parking in the driveway is definitely tricky as is getting out of the driveway and turned around, but again, no true issue, just tricky. House was lovely with all necessary bedding, pillows, towels, soaps, etc. Location allowed us easy access to town or hiking.
House was great - well kept and very clean, spacious and the beds were really comfy. The driveway is narrow and has a steep drop off on one side and not a lot of places to turn around. All of the vines and growth on the right side of the drive needs to be cleaned up. We kept getting caught on a rose looking bush with thorns. It would also be helpful to have instructions how to divert the water to the shower in the bath upstairs. upstairsbe helpfu
Our group was celebrating our daughter’s graduation weekend from UNCA. The three bedrooms were perfect and the bathrooms were modern and clean. The kitchen- dining area fit our needs and we were had plenty of room to relax together. Be aware that parking is very limited.
This was an absolute excellent experience. The property was exactly as displayed and communicated. Not only was it set with all the items needed (coffee maker, pots, pans, seasonings, nice place for pets) but it was well organized and quiet. I was prepping for my dad’s 80th birthday and this was the perfect location to distress and unwind once the festivities were concluded. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable place to stay. Also my boyfriend was thrilled to run the hills. Yes you read that correctly, run the hills. Thank you again.
This house is in a great location, 10 minutes from downtown near the river. As of our stay (end of Dec 2024), there is still damage in the neighborhood from the hurricane. There were trees down on the side of the road, and we had to drive under a power line held up by a wooden stick balanced on the pavement. The house itself had no obvious damage, and was a great place to stay. The living room couch had one side that was hard to sit on due to the springs wearing out, but was comfortable otherwise. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee, sugar, salt/pepper, spices. The three bedrooms upstairs share one bath, and the other bathroom is downstairs. The driveway is very steep and you really need to be careful to park on the right side. Once we got used to it, we had no issues. We contacted the host once during the stay, and they got back to us within the hour.
