The Overlook was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We also rented the adjacent cottage so our family enjoyed both homes. The hosts were wonderful; they were very accommodating and responsive.

Perfect set up for 9 adults - 3 couples and 3 singles. Everyone had their own room with comfy beds. Plenty of space to gather together and get away from each other when the adult kids wanted their own area. Deck was a nice place to enjoy the weather. Even had a mama bear and three cubs wander through the yard. (We stayed inside to watch that show!) House was immaculate and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Quick trip into Asheville and any surrounding attractions/activities we had on the agenda, so this was a very convenient location, but still away from it all and very private. Thank you, Jason, for providing a beautiful home for us to spend an easy, relaxing week!

The property is definitely designed for a large group. We had 10 people in our 70s. Everything was accessible, clean, modern, and first class.The property is in a natural setting, quiet, and beautiful views. Host was exceptional. The kitchen has state of the art appliances. Very comfortable beds. Highly recommend this property. An easy drive to all the sites in Asheville.

The Overlook was outstanding — first rate. The house was modern, clean and filled with everything necessary to make our stay pleasurable. There were enough en suite bathrooms and the beds were top notch, providing a great night’s sleep. The check-in/check-out information was also very clear, concise and informative. The Overlook was a great experience for our family of twelve.

Our host was very welcoming and gave us lots of very helpful details about the area (restaurants, attractions etc.). The house was perfect, our grandchildren especially enjoyed the video game console and the fire pit on the patio. Hope we can come back!!

Perfect family getaway!

This property was perfect for our family get together! The house was absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable for our group of 12 adults and 3 children. Loved how the owner included a foosball table and Pacman console for entertainment. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

The Home was lovely. Exceptionally clean. The host was very prompt if we had a question. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was a unique surprise to see deer on the property and a huge bear on the road!

Second time at this property

This was our second time staying at the Overlook. We stayed with a couple of families and the house was perfect for that. We also enjoyed seeing (from inside) the daily bear family visits. Jason is a pleasure to work with, and we would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

I loved looking out of the window in the morning to see the mountains! Every room had its own bathroom! My bother who is a chef for an NHL team noted that that the kitchen has everything you need and more! I would stay here again.

Absolutely perfect spot for our large extended family to stay for our daughter’s wedding. The house is spacious, well appointed with modern amenities and incredibly comfortable beds. The bedroom/bathroom ratio, open floor plan and multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces make this house ideal for large groups.

Perfect wedding weekend

We absolutely adored this home to gather friends and family in our wedding party under one roof. I could not imagine a better space to house all our couples and it never felt cramped at all.
