About this property

Wonderful two-bedroom home with a full kitchen

Wonderful two-bedroom home with a full kitchen. Located almost directly across the street from the Hospital. Plenty of parking in the front and rear for both campers and boats. Plenty of space in the front yard for any family activity and a fenced in back yard to accommodate pets and small children.

All the main floor and any yard space. Parking in front and rear.

Property is located right off of the main road but set far back enough that road noise is not an issue. Large front yard with a fenced in area in the back so your pets can have a safe area to play in. Parking is available in both the front and rear. Rear parking can be accessed from the alley. Kitchen and living room form one large space in the front of this home. Both bedrooms are located off of this main area. In one room we have a queen size bed, the other we have two double beds and in the living room the couch can be made into a full size bed. Internet and Hulu TV provided for you.

The Marina is just down the street toward the river. Lots of different nature paths located just minutes from the home.

I enjoyed my stay in this warm and cozy house. Stan was a great host and communicated all of the information prior to my trip. It had everything I needed. The highlight was the bed/pillows were comfortable for a good night's sleep!

We had a wonderful stay! Location was good, easy to find. Had a fenced yard for the dogs to run loose in. House was clean, had a musty smell. There is a dehumidifer though. We also got an air freshner and that helped. Stan was friendly and accomodating, just a phone call way. Will stay again when we are in Pierre.

Warm and cozy

Simple little house that is located right in the middle of town. Kept us warm and had a small fenced yard perfect for the dogs to stretch in and run about. Only down side is that it’s right on a busy street, but that didn’t bother us too much with road noise.

Good location and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. House had a very musty smell to it and emptied dehumidifier bucket several times throughput the weekend. Also not enough towels & wash cloths; not even one per person. Luckily, there was a washer & dryer available so could wash in between showers. Ceiling fans very dirty and bathroom floor had a greasy/slippery feel to it.

Very disappointed

I was never sent how to check in and could not contact the manager. Contacted VRBO and the assistant could not contacted him either. So she cancelled my reservation. She was no help in finding accommodations and I was left to my own devices to find accommodations. This is the worst I have every been treated.

State 4H Horse Show

The state show was moved to Ft. Pierre due to construction in Huron. With 5 kiddos 11-2 in age.. it was much nicer to rent a house vs cram into hotel rooms. It was a great place to get outa the 100+ temps. Cook some meals and relax when we were done showing for the day. Stan was great in answering his phone anytime I called!! Will def. stay again if the show gets moved there again.

Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway. Nice place with an even nicer owner.

Stay here when in Pierre. Great host, great place.

I was very pleased with this property. It was as advertised, well appointed, easy, and comfortable. There was easy access to the back yard, which is fenced in - perfect for pets. Pierre is small, so the location is good and close to everything. Stan is a go-getter and very responsive. We had a couple of conversations to compare notes as well, landlord to landlord. The address needed an update and therefore took a phone call to straighten out on arrival. There is also an odd, but oddly-charming hump or hill across the middle of the living room due to a foundational anomaly. The house is in no danger. The entry to the driveway was a little bumpy, but that could be a municpal responsibility. None of these things affect my rating or feeling about the unit. Other than that, there was everything I needed and we had a very enjoyable week. Strongly recommend. Thank you, Stan!

Vacation rental Adam's Ave.

House was neat, clean and well appointed. Stan made sure linens, kitchen utensels- pots, pans, plates, silverware were all stocked. Nice, affordable place. You won't find a better renters either. Stan and his wife are awesome. Will DEFINITELY rent from him again.
