"Once Upon A Tide" is a cute island cottage with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom along the pedestrian beach area of Surfside Beach, Texas. Fully equipped kitchen in the open concept dining-living room. Roomy remodeled bathroom with a great walk-in corner shower. Enjoy water views from the partially shaded front deck, just a 5-minute walk to pedestrian beach area (closed to vehicular traffic). In the shady downstairs is a charcoal barbecue grill and enclosed shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. New whole-house water filtration plus RO filter in kitchen.

Great quick get away

Great small cottage. If they had control if Mosquitoes it would have been perfect. Of course we came prepared with spray.

Short but sweet

All said and done I was gratefully pleased staying there!! Initially I was sent ( not certain by whom ) a lengthy list of things that needed to be done at departure. I was disgusted with the request to do this list while also paying a “cleaning fee”. I considered canceling the trip and losing the money paid. While there I requested the list since I couldn’t find it. At that time I was given a few instructions which was minimal!! I was thankfully pleased!! Thank You!!

Perfect Location

This home was absolutely perfect for what we needed. I rented it for family that came in to see us. They were able to stay a block away from house. The house is so cute and has all the amenities that you need. We will definitely rent this home again.
