Before You Book – Please Read
We want your stay to be relaxing, safe, and enjoyable. Please review the following info before booking:
Nature & Country Living
Bluestone is in a forested area. While we treat the exterior, occasional visits from insects or mice can occur—especially in cold weather. If you’re uncomfortable with the realities of rural living, this may not be the best fit.
Check-In & Support
Check-in is after 4 PM and check-out is by 11 AM. Early or late check-ins may be available for an additional fee with at least 24 hours’ notice.
This is a private home—not a hotel—but we’re just a call or email away if you need anything during your stay.
Cell Service & Arrival
There is no cell service at the house. Please enable WiFi calling in your phone’s settings before arrival.
Save or write down the address, door code, WiFi info, and host contact information before traveling, in case your GPS or signal drops.
Water & Septic Info
The property uses a private well and septic system. Please help us protect it:
No sprinklers, kiddie pools, or Slip ‘N Slides
Only flush toilet paper—no wipes, paper towels, or hygiene products
Outdoor Lighting & Security
The cabin features dusk-to-dawn lighting at key entry points, including the main cabin, Love Shack, parking area, and walkway.
Security cameras are installed outdoors for guest safety and property monitoring.
Locations include:
Front door of main cabin (window blocked for privacy)
Love Shack entrance (facing driveway)
Utility pole (garbage area)
Behind garage (pointing at Airstream)
Winter Driving Tips
We recommend:
AWD, FWD, or 4WD vehicles
Winter or all-season tires with strong tread
Avoid 2WD/RWD vehicles during snow or ice
The driveway is plowed and shoveled to the door. A shovel is provided for guests to help keep walkways clear.
