Moonlight Reflections

You will feel like your at home as soon as you open the door to this lovely home. It is very warm and inviting with the warmth of a gas fireplace and lodge like great room. When you sit outside on the covered back porch you have mountain and pond views. You can also hear the stream running which borders the property. You have the convenience of everything just a short drive away. Moonlight Reflections is a good place to gather with your family to enjoy the comfort of just staying in to enjoy a movie, board game, or a good book in the library nook. There is fishing, golfing, biking, hiking, swimming, skiing and more. The diversity of restaurants is sure to peak your interests from Swiss,Mexican,American,Italian or just a gourmet sandwich shop all within a short 8 mile radius. For those who enjoy cooking there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. There are 3 bedrooms one with a queen bed, one with a twin bed and 2 twin beds in the loft like bedroom. Available is a good blowup mattress and a couch making it comfortable for 8 to sleep. whether you are getting away to spend quality time with family or a romantic weekend together, you have found the right place to stay. Perfect Getaway

Moonlight Reflections was the perfect cabin for our weekend away. Filled with everything we could need and more, Kathy thought of it all. Loved the cozy feel and layout as well as the beautiful scenery. We will be return guests for sure.

Perfect for Us

We stayed here when we were attending our niece's wedding nearby. Communications with the host went smoothly and she was very responsive. Having the 2 bathrooms, a gas fireplace in the living room to take off the chill (especially as it rained one day), and the covered deck was great. The house was spotless and the host had included everything to make our stay a positive experience.

Perfect stay at Moonlight Reflections!

Walking into this cottage after an 11 hour grueling drive from MD in rain and snow was a truly welcomed sight. The home is so cozy and warm and so nicely outfitted for guests. We stayed here as overflow guests who celebrated Thanksgiving in Margretville. The arrangements and kitchen were perfect to support Thanksgiving efforts. My friends and I very much appreciated the hospitality of the cottage and host. Thank you!

Summer Get-a-Way

The house and property were an oasis in the mountains. Great location to base from for easy day excursions to the many great surrounding towns. Relaxing on the back porch and getting the fire pit going in the evening was a highlight. Needed more time! Kathy was on top of things and communication leading up to and during the stay was just right.

Our group of friends and family enjoyed this property for a wedding weekend nearby. The road is quiet and the sound of the stream was lovely. It was a bit cold to be outside but would be great to enjoy the outdoor deck. Some parts of this property felt a little rough around the edges in comparison to the pictures (property needs a little TLC. plastic on windows), but we enjoyed our stay overall.

Tranquility and beauty

What a beautiful and tranquil home! The two decks were perfect for enjoying the beauty of the Catskills and the interior of the house was warmly inviting - wish it had been cold enough for a fire. Kathy has gone to great effort to provide everything needed in the kitchen, blankets, and linens and was a responsive and generous host who greeted us with a bottle of wine. The sound of the stream running behind the deck accompanied by the chirping of birds was a perfect place to unwind. We are already planning our return in the fall.

Home away from home

This property is truly a home away from home!! It was cozy and inviting, not to mention it included all of the day to day necessities. We celebrated my mother-in-law's 70th Birthday and I'm so happy we settled on Moonlight Reflections! Also, you could not ask for a better host, Kathy, who was prompt with her responses and was so accomodating. It was nice to sit back and relax by the fire, surrounded by all of the comforts of home! It was obvious Kathy put a ton of thought into the decor and accomodations, to ensure all of her guests have a warm and welcoming experience. This place exceeded our expectations to the point we're already in the process of booking it for later this year, which speaks for itself. If you're reading this review, book it, you will not be disappointed! Special thanks to Kathy!!

Stayed here to attend a wedding at Spillian. The location is very close... FYI... I recommend that you plan to drive to the venue. The home is cozy and the host communicated t/o the stay in case we needed anything. LOVED the covered porch off the kitchen... so relaxing with the creek flowing behind the property. As a bird watcher enjoyed watching the red-winged back birds and swallows near the small pond. We even briefly spotted a hummingbird!

Wonderful Stay in a Cozy Home

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at the property. Kathy was communicative and helpful every step along the way. She went above and beyond to help us secure a babysitter while we attended a local wedding given we were traveling out of town. The kids enjoyed searching for frogs around the pond, and us parents loved reading on the back deck while the kids napped. Thank you Kathy!

Stayed here for a family of 6 ski trip to Belleayre. It was very clean and well stocked, with comfortable furnishings . Enjoyed the gas firepit on the deck, which has lots of comfortable seating around it. This is a perfect all-season house. I highly recommend it. Will definitely return!

Perfect house close to skiing

We had a lovely stay at Moonlight Reflections. The house was equipped with everything we needed and was a 5 minute drive to Belleayre Mountain. It was also really close to an amazing new restaurant called the Printing House that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Birthday Ski Trip

We all enjoyed our stay in Kathy's home while we took our daughter and her three friends skiing at Belleayre Mt. House was so close to the mountain it made it convenient to drive back and forth. Her home is cozy and clean and sits on a beautiful property with the sound of a rushing creek out back. We hope to come back again so we can experience the property/surroundings in another season.

Wonderful winter land

We had a fantastic time atKathy‘s home. It was warm and cozy, and the perfect place for access to the ski mountains. I hope to be able to go back next season as my whole family, including the dog, enjoyed the lovely home and property. Cathie wasn’t an incredible host, and really attentive to all of my questions. The house is well stocked with supplies and of course, we enjoyed the welcoming bottle of wine.
