The ideal place to relax and switch off right on the North Sea dike. Only a few steps with your own cup of coffee or tea are on the dike. Moddergat is a very lovely little place in North Friesland in direct proximity to the ferry ports to Schiermonnikoog and Ameland. And this is what a perfect week looks like in our lovingly furnished holiday home: walks along the water, the sea, the mudflats, feeling the vastness, enjoying fish and regional products from the region, driving to the great town of Dokkum, experiencing Groningen or the cultural capital Leeuwarden, be on the road by bike, sit on the dike and watch life by the sea, go to the islands for hiking, cycling and swimming, experience the lovely nature of the Frisian hosts ... The house offers 120 square meters of space, behind and in front of the house there are seats and a barbecue. The house is only rented a little, is a small home by the sea, "home away from home", offers all the equipment you need. Anyone who expects hotel STANDARD or the hustle and bustle of a holiday resort is wrong here - nature, tranquility and enjoyment are very welcome. Een weekje wonen met een museum ervaring en wadlopen vanuit het huis. Niet het meest modern maar wel van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hadden een prima week in Moddergat.

Romantisches Haus direkt am Meer

Das liebevoll renoviertes ehemaliges Fischerhaus liegt direkt am Deich zum Wattenmeer. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und naturnah. Das Haus ist groß, 4 Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder, 2 Küchen, zwei Wohnzimmer. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist nett und informativ.

Ein ganz außergewöhnliches Ferienhaus

Wir hatten zwei wunderbare Wochen in diesem außergewöhnlichen Ferienhaus, dass eigentlich aus zwei Häusern besteht und daher 2 Wohnzimmer, 2 Küchen, 2 Bäder, 3 Terrassen, 4 Schlafzimmern und unendlich vielen kleinen Besonderheiten besteht. Die Atmosphäre ist wirklich einmalig und ideal, um Ruhe und Erholung zu geniessen. Durch die vielen Räume gibt es genügend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für alle auch bei schlechtem Wetter. Dank guter Internetverbindung kann man auch gut "Home Office" machen, wenn man mal keinen Urlaub bekommt (Dadurch konnte auch unser Sohn dabei sein). Die Lage direkt hinter dem Deich und in einem "Museumsdorf" ist auch sehr besonders... Wer Action und Shoppinghighlights sucht, ist hier auf jedem Fall am falschen Ort, aber wer wunderbare Landschaften (Watt, Wald, See) das Meer und Ruhe sucht, sollte hierher kommen.

Wij hebben erg genoten van onze vakantie in dit knusse vissershuis. Echt een prima huis met alle praktische benodigdheden. Rustig gelegen, direct aan de dijk. Prima uitvalsbasis voor zowel Schiermonnikoog als Ameland en ook om te zeilen op het Lauwersmeer Een heel leuk verblijf!

Entspannung pur

Sehr individuell gestaltetes Ferienhaus direkt am Deich gelegen. Wer Ruhe und Entschleunigung sucht, ist in Moddergat am richtigen Fleck. Nach einem ausgedehnten Spaziergang auf dem Deich lädt das kleine Café direkt am Haus zu einem leckeren Cappuccino und einem Stück Apfelkuchen ein. Radfahren ist natürlich ein Muss!! In der Umgebung liegen leicht erreichbare Fährhäfen die zu Ausflügen zu den Westfriesischen Inseln einladen. Doris und Frank

Wunderbar!

Das Fischerhäuschen in Moddergat hat einen ganz besonderen Charme. Es ist mit allem und mehr ausgestattet! Perfekt zum Entspannen! Die Lage ist wunderbar. Ruhig gelegen aber nicht einsam. In überschaubaren Fahrminuten erreicht man Inseln und Städte. Wir hatten eine wunderbarenZeit und empfehlen dieses Schätzchen und seine Lage gerne weiter!

Uriges authentisches Haus hinterm Deich

Verwinkeltes uriges altes Fischerhaus direkt hinterm Deich lädt zum Entspannen. Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus ist sehr nützlich. Sehr netter Vermieter, der sich auch um seine Mieter liebevoll kümmert. Im Haus ist Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Im Gästebuch findet man viele nützliche Hinweise und Erfahrungen von anderen Gästen.

herrlich entspannend

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einem kleinen Fischerort direkt am Deich. Für ein Fischhäuschen ist es recht groß und geräumig. in den 4 Schalfzimmern finden mind. 8 Personen einen Schlafplatz. Zu erreichen sind die Schlafzimmer durch teilweise recht steile Treppen. Wie gut, dass zum Haltfinden feste Seile angebracht sind. Zwei Küchen und zwei Wohn- und Esszimmer bieten genügend Platz für die Gäste. Die neu renovierten Badezimmer (1 Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC, 1 WC und 1 Dusche) sind nicht geräumig, erfüllen aber ihren Zweck. Rund um das Haus gibt es diverse Terrassen bzw. Sitzmöglichkeiten. Bei Sonne oder Wind findet sich so immer das richtige Plätzchen. Der Vermieter stellt Fahrräder zur Verfügung, was wunderbar ist. Das Örtchen Moddergat-Paesens bietet eine Kneipe, in der man auch etwas essen kann. Am Wochenende hat ein Imbiss geöffnet. Gut gefallen hat uns auch, dass wir frisches Gemüse bei den Bauern im Umkreis kaufen konnten. Es gibt ein kleines Fischereimuseum und natürlich die Nordsee, die immer zu ihr Gesicht verändert, die man sich ansehen kann. Lange Spaziergänge auf dem Deich sind quasi ein Muss. Im Umkreis weniger Kilometer findet sich schöne Städtchen und Dörfer sowie die Inseln Schiermonnikoog und Ameland, die einen Besuch wert sind.

Sfeervolle en bijzondere woning met veel historie op een mooi plekje in Moddergat. Volledig ingericht. Echter niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Wij hebben ( met 4 personen) een fijn verblijf gehad.
