( no fishing in the lagoons) Large second level screened in porch with overhead fans and a large screen tv overlooking the water. Five min bike ride to the beach. ( courtesy bikes and beach chairs included) 15 to 18 walk or 4 min car ride. Beach shuttle is also available for small fee. A true paradise for golf or biking on endless bike trails including the unique ability to cycle on the beach the entire length of the island. ( no E-bikes permitted in Shipyard or other vacation resorts) Complimentary bikes with beach trailer are included. Boasting a 27 hole championship golf course, the renowned Van Der Meer Racquet/Tennis Club, and the gorgeous Sonesta beachfront hotel and resort with beach bar and restaurants. The number one location on Hilton Head Island for access to full service shopping and restaurants. Courtesy beach chairs, beach toys, etc available. Sleeps 8 with king bed in main room, queen in guest-room, and 2 twin beds in 2nd guest-room. Newer couches and queen sleeper sofa. All rooms have smart TV’s. with Roku tv. There is covered parking on the concrete lower level. Three car limit per stay.

Large flat screen TV in living room. Screened in back porch overlooks the peaceful lagoon and also has a flat screen TV. ( A great spot for freshly brewed morning coffee)Wi-Fi throughout entire house. Washer and dryer are available with iron and ironing board. For small children, a pack-and-play is available. Board games, jigsaw puzzles, cards and a stereo available. Towels, and all linens are provided.
Outdoor New Weber Genesis propane grill and grilling area with table and chairs provided.

Recently updated Kitchen features electric stove, double oven, microwave, new dishwasher and garbage disposal. Quartz countertops, tiled backsplash and all new flooring. We were very happy w/this rental. Perfect for our family. Beautiful area, yard. Home is well maintained recently updated. Lots of extras like neighborhood pool, washer/dryer, bikes, chairs, beach toys. Covered parking to keep car shaded. We enjoyed the convenient location as well.

This house is one of the best on the island! Great location, everything you need is close at hand, the layout is perfect and everything was immaculate when we arrived! Having bikes included with the property was a huge plus for getting to the beach and back and it is a smooth, easy ride. There is space for everyone to gather inside and out and all the furniture, including the beds, were sturdy and comfortable. The community pool is within an easy walk and the community is quiet and secluded. Absolutely a perfect vacation home!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely home overlooking a tranquil lagoon, and especially enjoyed all of the amenities that were included - bikes, beach equipment, beach towels, laundry, grill, pool access, etc... Highly recommended!

Our experience with this vacation house was completely satisfactory. From the first time I contacted the owner, he was prompt in his response and his discription of the property was very accurate. His instructions for checkin was very complete. There were no surprises. The house and property was well maintained, attractive, and very clean. It was also nicely furnished. The bicycles and beach chairs were plentiful and in good condition. We spent a good deal of time on the screened in porch and deck and used the nice .gas grill. Would definitely rent again when going back to HHI. Have been there many times and this house made it one of our most enjoyable trips.

Great Family Vacation

This is the second time we stayed at Kingston Cove #26. Both times were wonderful. Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad and 2 grandsons under six. The lagoon view with alligators was fascinating for the grandsons. Weather was perfect. Looking for memories, this is your place!

Homerun experience!

Ok at first I thought the other reviewers were exaggerating when describing this place, but now that we have stayed here, if anything, they didn't say enough. This place is awesome, immaculately clean, furnished beautifully, AC is artic cold, bathrooms quite tranquil, location is sublime, the lake is amazing, and the screened in porch w/ 2 ceiling fans and flatscreen TV was superb. Book this before it no longer is a secret.

This was a great place for my family and extended family - plenty of room for everyone, close distance to the beach, pool very close, saw lots of wild life in the lagoon behind the house while enjoying the covered porch, did have alligators come into our driveway so use caution if you have small children. Overall, we had a positive experience! Only negative about Shipyard is the lack of parking spaces for beach access.

We had a wonderful time at Joshua’s home. The property was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and welcoming. Our favorite part was our buddy whom we named “Kingston” the Alligator! Kingston visited our yard each day to sun himself! We would sit on the screened in porch and watch for him! We definitely will return!

Great location, and property

Our family loves HHI, and have visited the area many times. This trip was another good one. The home was clean and is set up nicely for a family of our size. The screened in porch with TV, overlooking the lagoon was our favorite gathering spot when at the house. My younger children loved the availability of the community pool, and made some new friends who were also visiting from out of town. Shipyard, and Kingston Cove in particular ranks high, in our favorite places that we’ve stayed. Easy to get to the many beaches in the area, and quiet for relaxing at the house. Thank you for a great stay.

House was as described

The House was absolutely as described. I would suggest that the owner post the rules of the Shipyard Community. E-bikes and fishing Are Not Allowed. Our vacations are planned around riding our e-bikes and fishing, so that was a buzz kill.

Great Family Home!!! This house exceeded my expectations. I don't think the pictures do it justice. Good size for 2-6 adults. Kitchen was well stocked. Master Bedroom Bed was very comfortable. Master Bathroom was a good size. We loved sitting on the screened in back porch. Saw a couple of alligators in the lagoon!!! Loved walking on the bike trails. 5 minutes away from beach and shopping in Cologny. The property was also very clean. The owner Josh was also great to deal with. We would definitely book this house again!!!

Excellent location and lovely home!

This was a FABULOUS home for our week on HHI. It was centrally located and so quiet! The screened in porch was devine. I lived out there when we were home. That's truly what it felt like, home. The split bedroom floor plan was nice in that our boys had their area and across the living room, we had ours. We had a sliding glass door to the screened in porch, so I would read out there until I got tired and then go to bed. We are looking forward to coming back and hopefully staying here or in Kingston Cove again. Shipyard as a while was wonderful! The beach walk isn't bad. It took us about 20 min. The pool is literally 3-4 houses away, which was amazing!

Awesome HHI Vacation and Property

This was our second year staying at this property, and as with our first stay, everything was perfect! The home was immaculate when we arrived, and everything was laid out with instructions on how to use all the amenities available to us, both in the home and on the island. It is a beautiful place to see all there is to see in Hilton Head, and Josh and his family are more than hospitable when we had questions before we got there again this year. They even left us a little gift (as they did last year) to help remember our stay and bring home just a little bit of Hilton Head with us. I highly recommend staying here if you want to relax and enjoy a wonderful week on HHI. Nothing but good times and great memories. We look forward to coming back next year! The Caugers

Quiet, Beautiful, Home away from Home!

This home was absolutely perfect, it was tucked away in the peaceful Shipyard Plantation. My cousin and I brought our children (15, 14, 8, and 1) to the Dubose home for our first vacation on Hilton Head Island. Everything we needed was provided: linens, full stocked kitchen, even a playpen and booster for my daughter to eat at the table. The home was spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable, and we loved the Jacuzzi tub in the master bath. There was a grill out back, with a full propane tank, unfortunately we couldn't find a grill brush to clean the grates (this was the only downside). The view of the pond outback was beautiful, we were able to watch the wild life from the comfort and safety of the patio. The pool is with in walking distance from the house, we spent a lot of time there. The beach is a short car/bike ride away. Everything else you could need was within a few miles. Our overall experience was amazing. We would definitely love to come back to this home. I would recommend it to anyone planning to travel to Hilton Head Island.

This property is privately owned and we work hard to treat it as our own. It is not a time-share, but a second home for our children and grandchildren. We adore HHI so much, that it made sense for us to purchase property here (after all, all of our vacations are here). We ask that this home is treated as your home would be treated. We intend to keep it for many years and we enjoy it as much as anyone. So, pour up a cup of coffee, sit on the back porch and enjoy the beautiful mornings overlooking the Lagoon.
