Wonderful time at the lake

We had a great time. The house has everything you could want, the place is beautiful and so is the nearby village. The host was very helpful at all times. The only sad thing was that at some point, we had to leave. Would stay longer next time ;-)

The best

The best house we have ever stayed in. The design is stunning, with large windows offering a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. The air is clean, and everything you need is nearby. We especially want to highlight the cleanliness of the house and the kitchen equipment—everything we could think of was available. The host was very nice, always in touch, and pleasant to communicate with. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay. We are ready to return many times!

Memorable Stay in a Tranquil Lakeside Gem

Our stay in this extraordinary waterfront property in Osteno-claino, Lombardia, Italy was simply magical. This house captivated us from the moment we arrived, boasting a unique location directly on the shores of Lake Lugano. The highlight was the direct lake access from the house's backyard and private pier. Our entire family relished in the delight of jumping into the serene lake, and the backyard quickly became our tranquil oasis, offering breathtaking views of the expansive lake and the majestic mountains surrounding it. The thoughtfully designed house left no stone unturned, with meticulous attention to detail visible in every corner. Every room was thoughtfully crafted to offer a view of the lake, creating an ever-present connection with nature. The ground floor rooms, each having their own exit to the backyard, brought the beautiful outdoors just a few steps away. The modern, fully equipped kitchen, complete with a modern coffee machine and spacious fridge, made self-catering a breeze, while the multiple shower rooms added to the overall convenience. Beyond the property, the local area didn't disappoint either, with a plethora of excellent Italian restaurants that tantalized our taste buds. Two standout eateries were "Osteria de Cin" and "Antico Crotto". The rich, delicious flavors of Italian cuisine at these restaurants complemented our lakeside experience, making our Italian vacation all the more memorable. In conclusion, this property exceeded all expectations

Beautiful house, perfect location, awesome host

This is a lovely, very well equipped and perfectly designed house, located in one of the most beautiful spots in the world: on a little cove on Lake Lugano with a backdrop of the Italian and Swiss Alps. What could be better than a swim in the lake, some family time and games lakeside, with a break for a delightful Italian meal in one of the many spots nearby? Answer: nothing, nothing could be better. The beauty is spectacular: one of our teens described it as swimming in front of a green screen, the beauty was so unreal. Regina was a wonderful host -- easy to reach, knowledgeable of the area, and attentive to ensuring the house was well-stocked and prepared. There is a small grocer, two bars, pizza and gelatto within a few minutes walk -- along with a fantastic high end family restaurant. What more do you need? The region offers hiking, watersports, and easy access to Lake Como for a visit (but you'll want to return to low key Lugano quickly....) The town of Porlezza is about 5-10 mins away, and has large grocery stores, patisseries, great restaurants, etc. The house itself is laid out to provide for great family and friend time -- we had lots of charades and card games etc. The dock into the lake is where we spent most of our time -- on our way to the refreshing, crystal clear waters of the lake! All in all, just a fabulous house with a supportive and engaged host in a spectacular part of the world. We very much hope to visit again.

Ich würde gerne wiederkommen

Die Schlüsselübergabe und Einweisung waren einfach und freundlich. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war immer sehr rasch und hilfreich.Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gut gepflegt. Im Außenbereich Kleinigkeiten, sonst perfekt: Schöner Blick auf den See und die gegenüberliegenden Berge. Sonne von früh bis spät im Garten, guter Sonnenschirm und Gas-Grill. Ein toller Steg führt ins Wasser, super zum Schwimmen. Vorsicht mit scharfkantigen Muscheln auf den Steinen in Ufernähe! Daher ist die Leiter vom Steg besser.Man hört die Straße hinter dem Haus, wenn Sportauspüffe röhren...In Laufnähe Alimentari und Eis.Wir haben es sehr genossen!

Wunderbare Sommer Ferien mit Familie direkt am See

Wir waren Anfang August 2024 mit 11 Personen in dieser schönen Villa! Wir sind aus der Schweiz mit der Bahn und Ausflugsschiff über den Lago di Lugano angereist, es war super einfach! Das Haus ist sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte an nichts! Auch das Wetter spielte mit.... nur ein Abend mit Gewitter!! Ich würde sofort wieder buchen.

Ein absoluter Traum!

Wir hatten 2 wunderbare Wochen! Alles war genau wie beschrieben, der private Steg toll für die Kinder, in Haus und Küche alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Straße hinterm Haus stört kaum, dafür ist der Blick von der Terrasse und allen Zimmern auf den See und die Berge der absolute Hut! Die Bar/Pizzeria im Ort ist sehr zu empfehlen! Wir würden sofort wieder kommen!

Wir hatten einen sehr tollen Familienurlaub. Dir Unterkunft selbst war groß, geräumig und toll ausgestattet. Der Zugang zum Wasser war durch einen Zaun mit Tor angestrebt, sodass die Kinder nicht direkt ohne Eltern ans Wasser konnten. Überall waren kleine Details

Eine wundervolle Woche am See

Wir waren mit zwei Familien in diesem wundervollen Haus. Durch die Zimmeraufteilung hatte jede Familie einen eigenen Bereich. Direkt um die Ecke ist ein Fußballplatz, den unsere Kinder sehr gerne bespielt haben. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und es fehlte an Nichts. Das Haus ist allerdings nicht ganz alleinstehend, wie es auf dem Foto ausschaut. Die Nachbarn haben wir aber kaum wahrgenommen. Claino con Osteno ist ein sehr idyllischer Ort. Dienstags ist in Porlezza ein Straßenfest. Überall wird auf den Straßen getanzt und Bands haben gespielt. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!!!

Eine tolle Woche im Haus am See

Es war eine sehr entspannte und erholsame Woche direkt am See. Das Haus ist groß, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und voll ausgestattet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Blick über den See ist zur jeder Tageszeit atemberaubend. Der Ort ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Aktivitäten in der Umgebung. Wir hatten ein schöne Zeit - vielen Dank.

Hier sollte man mal gewesen sein!

Ein großartiges Haus, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Lage, Ausstattung, Komfort, alles war wie wir es uns gewünscht hatten. Wir waren mit 10 Erwachsenen vor Ort, alle waren begeistert. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt zur Vermieterin, die bei den wenigen sich ergebenden Fragen sofort hilfreich zur Seite stand. Aus unserer Sicht unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Ein Traum für Jung und Alt direkt am See

Wir haben im August 2022 elf Nächte mit 3 Generationen in dieser Unterkunft am Luganersee verbracht. Das Haus ist super hochwertig, praktisch und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen tollen Urlaub benötigt. Ganz besonders gut haben uns die unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten sowohl draußen als auch drinnen gefallen (Terrasse sonnig, Terrasse schattig, Rasen, „Wohn-/Lesezimmer“). Parkmöglichkeiten waren direkt am Haus und wenige Meter weiter auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Wir hatten zum vorhandenen Sonnenschirm noch ein Sonnensegel dabei, um den Essbereich auf der Terrasse ganztägig schattig zu halten. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war super, alle Fragen vorab wurden immer kurzfristig beantwortet und wir hatten das Gefühl, wenn wir es gebraucht hätten (war nicht erforderlich), hätten wir auf kurzfristige Hilfe vor Ort zählen können. Das Haus war für unsere Gruppe (von 0 Jahren bis 68 Jahren) rundum perfekt und wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub - Buchung für 2023 ist bereits erfolgt.
