Your shoutout to Botany Bay and the Serpentarium is a great reminder of just how much this little island has to offer! Regarding the cable and internet service, you are absolutely right that this is a building-wide provider situation rather than anything specific to the unit, and we appreciate you noting that. We do want to add a bit of context for future guests who may be reading. Edisto Island is a beautifully remote destination accessible by a single two-lane highway, and that same geography that makes it such a peaceful escape also limits the infrastructure available to bring services like Xfinity and reliable cellular coverage to the island from providers located 25 to 30 miles north. High-occupancy weeks like the 4th of July place significant demand on those lines across the entire island, and service interruptions during peak periods are not uncommon. Service has improved greatly in recent years, and as noted in our rental agreement, cable, satellite, streaming, and internet reception may sporadically be out of service.
