We needed a getaway to just have us time and this cottage was perfect! Met our needs and was so peaceful! The location was spot on, not far from things to explore but gave you the ability to unwind. Would book this location again!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The only suggestion I would have is to consider adding a grab bar in the shower. I had my elderly mom with me and the shower / tub combo without a little grab bar made her nervous about falling. Would definitely stay here again!

A quaint little cabin on the edge of Door County. Very peaceful location just enough outside of town. The hosts were very thoughtful in the way they set up the cabin for dog owners and even provided a thoughtful basket which made us feel very welcome! They provided lists of things to do and their recommendations across the whole county. For our first trip with our dog, it suited all our needs and more. Cannot recommend this cabin enough! There were two other cottages near to us but left plenty of space so it didn’t feel crowded.

This was my second time at this cabin and we are already talking about a fall trip. I especially enjoyed the β€œoff-season” of Door County because there was little traffic and few wait times. A perfect time/place to simply turn off life and recharge together!

This was our second stay at Timberline and, once again, we enjoyed it very much. It has a quiet, very pretty location in the woods with a beautiful screened porch that provided a great spot for reading and relaxing, just what we were looking for.

Gotta stay in Gills Rock!

We loved this quaint cottage! Immaculately clean and felts so welcoming and cozy! Had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. Its location made it easy to get into the towns but we loved being able to be away from the hustle. Hope to stay again soon!

This place was absolutely perfectβ€”exactly as described! Peaceful and quiet, yet only short drives to the state parks and Sister Bay. The room was spotless, and communication with Kelly and Joe was easy and friendly. Pet-friendly, cozy, and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. This is an exceptional gem of a place. Warm, cozy and welcoming. This is our second visit in January and the landscape did not disappoint. We had a snowstorm, bunkered down by the fire and had many lovely walks. A winter wonderland in the Door is the best to decompress.

Absolutely amazing and everything we hoped for! The place is so clean, smells outstanding and has everything you would need for your trip. The hosts were very communicative and checked in to make sure we didn’t need anything. Our senior dogs loved sunbathing in the morning sunlight thanks to the giant windows. And we enjoyed coffee on the porch, taking in the morning. It’s located close to town but far enough away that we were able to fully relax. Great bookworm vacation spot! We will definitely book again!

Winter Wonderland

Mid-May Stay

My husband and I enjoyed this cozy little cabin for a week in mid to late May. It is comfortable, up to date, and has everything you will need for your stay including a washer and dryer and a coffee maker! The owners were very accommodating, pleasant to communicate with, and always with very timely with replies to any questions or requests that we had.Overall a great stay.
