Viewtopia sits on top of the hill across the driveway from its sister cabin, Big Sky Mountain Lodge. For a big family reunion or sleeping for 24 you can rent that cabin as well (please contact directly) and be completely secluded on top of the mountain with both the lake and valley views. If you are enjoying just Viewtopia, sitting on the back deck, there is nothing between you and the pristine lake and national forest views in front of you.

Great family adventures begin here. Enjoy the basement area complete with ping-pong, foosball, a large 55” TV, seating areas and twin bunk sleeping for 4. As you move to the main floor, you fill find a large wood burning stone fireplace. Looking behind you, is the panoramic view of Broken Bow lake. Enjoy family meals with seating for 12 between the large copper table and granite bar area. A master bedroom and en-suite bathroom complete with shower and large bathtub complete the main floor. Moving upstairs you will find two more bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with the most beautiful views of the lake. The modern black and white room has a king size bed and a desk area for journaling, or the occasional work that must be done. The second bedroom upstairs has a king bed and 2 twin beds, great for a family or kids. Between the bedrooms is an open game table area with seating and card/board games for the family.

The decks are peaceful with three porch swings, and a hammock swing. Plenty of seating and area for spreading out. Relax on one of the swings and watch your children play on the play set that is nestled among the trees. Play corn-hole or large connect-four while enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Complete the evening with s’mores around the fire-pit. On the basement level, you can enjoy the views from the 5-6 person hot tub.

For avid hikers and nature enthusiasts alike, the Skyline hiking trail is less than a football field from your back steps. Choose a one-mile intermediate hike to your right you will end at the rushing mountain fork river loaded with trout and other fish. Hike to your left and it is a milder hike with waterfalls and beautiful wooded views, it is about a 3-mile hike to the overlook area of the Beavers Bend.
