About this property

Locally known as The Crappie House because of the great crappie fishing in the boat house. You are right on the water in this charming home situated on a half acre at the north end of beautiful Palo Pinto Lake. It is just a few steps to the water’s edge or directly onto the fabulous dock with conveniently located steps.
*****Measured the water at the boathouse, currently 10 feet. Ramp to water is quite steep but manageable.
Don’t recommend diving off docks as water level is low, could be stumps in the water! Verify underwater area is clear before diving. Private dock with 2 kayaks located in the boat house. Deep water fishing reported to be one of the best crappie spots on the lake, in a protected cove with slow No wake zone.

Beautiful sunsets and awesome lake views make this waterfront home ready for incredible memories to be made.

This home has a queen size bedroom downstairs with a full bath, and another queen bedroom upstairs with full bath. There is a twin bed in an alcove upstairs that is a walk through to the second bedroom.

Plenty of room for parking and security camera at the entrance of the property.

Lake Palo Pinto is on Palo Pinto Creek in the Brazos River basin fifteen miles southwest of Mineral Wells in Palo Pinto County. 79 miles southwest of Fort Worth. Lake size: 2,399 acres.

Acrobatic fishing

The house was set up nice. However, you need a step ladder to use the microwave and get into the ten-story bed. Outside was covered in cigarette butts and old rusty furniture. The other seating areas were very dirty. Very unsafe to go down to the boathouse. The walkway sat up at a 90 degree angle. Each time I let the dog out we spent thirty minutes pulling burrs out. The house was set up nice.

Nice getaway

Loved the place. We enjoyed the scenery and was also quiet. House was very lovely and clean. Didn’t catch much, tooooo hot! Maybe next time

Beautiful Lake View

My husband and I visited this property to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. We loved the peace and quiet. The house was very comfortable and the deck and boat dock were easily accessible. We arrived on Saturday and left Monday but on our drive home I told my husband I felt very relaxed (usually takes me 5/6 days to unwind).
