So Relaxing and Peaceful
We absolutely loved our stay. The gated neighborhood/ranch was quiet and remote but still convenient to get to town (and Mineral Wells is such a great town with friendly people). The barndo is on the perfect spot to take in the sunrise and the views of the hills. It is new, clean, spacious and well appointed (the listing is very accurate). The river access is so convenient, where you can just sit in the water, cool off, and enjoy. Check in was easy, and owner communicated well. We would gladly stay here again!

Perfect Getaway
We were in town for a ball tournament and needed a place to stay with our 2 dogs. This was the perfect spot! Easy to get to but is off the beaten path. Very quiet and peaceful. Communication was prompt and very welcoming. We had plenty of dishes, utensils and toiletry items for our stay. My family loved the outdoor area and played Cornhole every night! We even did some fishing but the river was really high so we weren’t able to get in but my child had the best time! Beautiful place with the most comfortable beds and pillows! Would definitely stay again!

Secluded luxury
This was a surprise find for us. We needed a place to stay for our son’s baseball tournament and decided we’d try this vs hotels in Mineral Wells. Great location, secluded so privacy is there by default but very nice place with top end touches throughout the home. The beds were soooo comfortable and there was plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out. Access to the Brazos river was a plus and saw the neighborhood cows and turkey throughout our stay. Good spot to get away and relax with a beautiful view from the back porch where we spent most of our time. Stephanie was awesome on communicating anything we needed. Would definitely return.

Nestled amidst the serene embrace of nature lies our cherished sanctuary – the ranch. Here, we find peace, joy, and an undeniable connection to the land. Our love for this haven stems from the sheer delight of escaping the clamor of daily life in the suburbs and immersing ourselves in the tranquility of the great outdoors.

From east of Dallas where we grew up, we have come to love west Texas. At the ranch, we revel in the simple pleasures of life – from walks down our street with no one else in sight, to hikes on trails throughout our 15-acre ranch and then finally a hearty campfire under the vast expanse of the starlit sky. Each moment spent here is a reminder of the beauty and abundance of God's creation.

As we open our hearts to share this blessing with others, we invite them to experience the same sense of serenity and joy that we hold dear. For in the embrace of the ranch, amidst the rolling hills and sprawling meadows, we discover not just a getaway, but a sanctuary – a place where the soul finds its home in nature's embrace.

Why they chose this property

Have you floated the Brazos River? Well, now's your chance. Enter at the end of Pleasant Valley Rd and float for about 2-3 hours (depending on the flow). Exit at the common area (lot #127) right past the three white houses on one lot.

We enjoy eating at Mary's Cafe in Strawn, famous for its chicken fried steak. Enjoy some good food at Coffee and Cocktails with live music in the evening and shopping during the day.

Explore downtown Mineral Wells and learn about the Crazy Water town. Mineral Wells State Park has great hiking trails, rock climbing, and enjoyable water activities such as fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Possum Kingdom Lake is not too far!
