PURE ISLAND ENJOYMENT IN THE WILD-ROMANTIC NORTH OF IBIZA
The north of Ibiza, with its rural character, is the area of the island that has remained the most unspoiled and original. The mainly hilly country is determined by terraced fields with olive, fig and almond trees.
Pine, lavender, juniper and wild rosemary exude an incomparable herbal fragrance.
If you are not looking for the party hustle and bustle in Ibiza, you are in good hands here in the north.
From San Miguel, with its white church at the highest point of the town, the route leads downhill directly to the bay of the former fishing port of Port de Sant Miquel.
In addition to beach bars, the well-known fish restaurant Port Balansat awaits you here, a popular meeting place for Spanish family celebrations and gourmets. Here you can find freshly prepared seafood and fish specialties, paellas and the famous Boullit de Peix.
Only about 6 kilometers away along the cliffs and past the Can Marcá stalactite cave, with a view of the wide sea and pine forests, the sandy beach of Benirras, (unfortunately meanwhile) known from film and television, lies in a bay.
Every evening, before the sun sinks into the sea, drummers and musicians from all over the world and from the hippie scene meet here for the spectacular sunset.
