Great Potential, Poor Execution
Though we loved the privacy and property location onsite to a winery and nearby Los Olivos, the execution by management was sub par. We had originally rented the property under the impression there was a pool included and given the 110 degree weather this was critical for our children. Before checking in we found out there was no pool and though the manager compensated us for this, it did not remedy the situation as it was too late to book another place. The property was easy to check into and was beautiful and private; all perfect. However, after settling it we found that the unit had a lot of flies (50+) of various size as if the doors had been left open. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty and there was an insufficient amount for the 3 bedroom size (e.g. only two bowls). What topped it off was that there were only 2 wine glasses and NO WINE BOTTLE OPENER, which was amazing considering the property is on a winery in wine country. Overall, the place is beautiful and certainly ideal for the purpose of privacy and space but given the price there should have been more thought and care taken in the area of service.
