Wake up each morning to the fresh mountain air and enjoy breakfast on the chalet's private deck. Then explore the area's numerous hiking trails, go for a swim in the lake only about 10 minutes away, or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, take in the incredible night sky or roast marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. ( Firewood is not provided.) Whether you're looking for a romantic escape or a family-friendly vacation, the Italian Chalet is sure to create lasting memories.

High school friends

The inside is full of unique touches. The view is phenomenal! The driveway is not for the faint of heart! Brandon was very helpful and quickly addressed our concerns- no internet and bears turning over garbage. The inside needs to have lightbulbs replaced. The outside was in need of a cleaning. It is filthy with no outside lighting or in need of bulbs. This needs to be addressed asap!

Loved our quick stay for the weekend. The view can’t be captured in a photo and the heated primary bathroom tiles were a nice surprise! Hosts were very communicative and kind. I wouldn’t drive in after dark bc the roads are thin, but they aren’t a problem during the day. Beautiful stay! All 3 couples were super happy with their rooms that all had a view.

Relaxing

Gorgeous view & the relaxation we needed. Very close to downtown Blue Ridge. The heated floors in master bath are amazing along with the views from the bath & shower. The decor is amazing! Can’t wait to go back!!
