Lakefront getaway with white sand, clear water, gorgeous sunsets

Enjoy relaxation and sunsets on the best lake in Highlands County. Lake June provides 3,700 acres of sandy-bottomed clear water perfect for fishing, swimming, boating, skiing and all types of water sports.
Our much-loved family vacation home is situated on approximately an acre of land with a dock.
The house is located in close proximity to the lake's boat ramp for those who wish to bring a boat or personal watercraft. Two local favorite restaurant/bars are located within minutes of the house. Downtown Lake Placid, known for its murals and quaint shops, it also just minutes away. There are numerous golf courses nearby, as well as a local winery.
The house is a charming two bedroom one bath with additional sleeping space in the den. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds, and the den has a bunk bed (two twins). Bed linens, pillows and towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the expected amenities. The house is equipped with high speed internet and the living room has a modern TV with a Roku to access your own streaming services. Guest have access to the washer and dryer located in the garage.

This house was exactly as described. We were very pleased with the location and the the kitchen had everything we could have needed to cook for the trip, dishes, pots & pans and baking utensils. Also has a nice bbq grill. I look forward to staying here again next year

Nice weekend getaway

My wife and I came in for the weekend to run the Spartan race nearby. This lake house was perfect for our needs. Easy check in process, responsive host, very comfortable stay. And a couple of nice places very close to eat and get a drink.

We found this house last minute and it was everything we needed to enjoy getting away for the weekend. Check in was super easy. The house is older but is also very home-like. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice little house that has a great view. The host was easy to contact and deal with. He couldn’t have done a better job really. I was concerned about the parking but there is plenty of room for a few cars. The house was very clean and cosy. A great place to enjoy family and friends.

Rick's home was super cozy and quiet. We really enjoyed catching up on some much needed R and R. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. The view of the lake is so beautiful. Rick was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this home for a great get-away!

Weekend at the lake

Very impressed with everything this past weekend. Had my kids and grand babies there to spend Mother’s Day weekend and everything was amazing! The beach is clean, water is clear, dock is sturdy grass is very well maintained. Even though we had some bad weather and in side most of the day Saturday we were still able to have fun inside with the board games and card games that are located in the house.Inside was very clean all rooms and amenities were all there and worked properly.

Comfortable, clean and inviting home with a beautiful view of Lake June. Plenty of seating and space for everyone in your group to eat, chat, watch tv or play games. The bathroom is a bit small, but it is conveniently situated between the two master bedrooms. It was convenient to have pots, pans, dishes and silverware in the kitchen cabinets—basically everything you need to cook your meals. Great communication by the host, too. The decor offers plenty of nostalgia and local kitsch in this little unassuming gem right on Lake June.
