Orea Ellas - Ourania | Garden Apartment

In 1985, the Belgian Christina and her Greek husband bought an old house in the quiet, leafy village of Lagoudi, at the foot of Mount Dikeos on Kos. The breathtaking view was the reason. Here she also opened her gallery in the garden and put her pictures and icons under. The bistro cafe came shortly after and everything was immediately discovered by well-known travel guides, like Dummont and Marco Polo. Tourists came and would like to spend the night, so the apartments were created.

One of the three apartments of, "Orea Ellas" is the here presented Apollon (greek. God of light and protector of the arts). It is a studio, located on the first floor, has a double bed, and two sofa beds. A small but well-equipped kitchen, a small bathroom with shower and a cozy, private terrace with views to the Turkish mainland belong to the object.
Down the stairs leads to the winding garden. It offers further seating, such as the BBQ area, a terrace with sun loungers and separate corners for reading, shared by the three apartments. Air conditioning does not have the studio, since it is not necessary. It is a stone building and is located at 300 meters altitude. There are hardly any mosquitoes here.
Through a garden gate you come to the garden from the bistro cafe, where Christina spoiled her cafe guests. There you can drink or eat something from 11. 00 and until 22. 00. "I cook as I paint" she says, d. H. according to mood, the same dish is different every time!
