About this property

You are cordially invited to spend your well-deserved vacation days in our holiday apartment in the highest climatic health resort on Großer Feldberg. From here you can start your excursions and hikes in the Taunus and indulge in the natural recreation opportunities. The plateau of the Great Feldberg can be reached on foot in about 60 minutes.

In our apartment you will find a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary electrical appliances and utensils as well as a shower room and a living room / bedroom for up to four people. In the garden there are opportunities for cozy barbecues. A parking space for your car is available free of charge. A supermarket and a bakery can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Should you still miss something, we are always available for your requests.

If your four-legged family member would also like to take part in your relaxation days, this is very welcome.

Oberreifenberg

Es ist ein kleineres Städtchen mit vielen heruntergekommenen Häusern, nicht wirklich schön anzusehen und läd nicht unbedingt zum durchschlendern ein. Die Wohnung an sich ist ganz ok. Am Eingangsbereich draußen steht ein kleiner Tisch mit Sitzgelegenheit und Aschenbecher. Für ein Nichtraucherdomizil merkwürdig. Es roch in der Wohnung nach kaltem Rauch, laut Vermietern ist das auf eine Fehlnutzung des Kachelofens von Vormietern zurückzuführen. Die Bettwäsche roch jedenfalls nach Rauch und wir inklusive aller Klamotten und Spielsachen der Kinder nach kurzer Zeit ebenso. Leider kann man die Räume nicht komplett abdunkeln, was unserem Jüngsten das Schlafen erschwert hat. In der Küche ist die Tapete an der Wand durch Vormieter mit irgendwas total vollgekleckst. Geschirr und Besteck waren teilweise dreckig und der Toaster funktionierte nicht richtig. Der Rest der Wohnung war sauber. Es ist einiges an Deko da, was die Wohnung wohnlicher macht. Auch für die Kinder waren ein paar Spielsachen da; das war super. Der Gartenbereich ist laut Vermietern Mitte April noch "im Winterschlaf" gewesen. Schade. Unsere Kinder waren kurz auf der alten Schaukel, ansonsten war es nur eine ungepflegte Wiese mit steilem Abgang seitlich. Mit kleinen Kindern nicht so praktisch. Fazit: für ein Pärchen, sicherlich eine ganz nette Unterkunft. Für uns als Familie mit Kleinkind leider nicht zu empfehlen.
