Welcome to our beach bungalow on the sunny south shore of Kauai! Our ground-floor, one-bedroom, one-bath condo is located on the Kiahuna Plantation, the only white sand beachfront resort in Poipu. When you arrive at condo #28, you'll find that it is located on the "Great Lawn" with a direct view of the ocean and just a 30-second walk from the award-winning Poipu Beach, consistently ranked as one of the best beaches in the world by USA Today. The condo is a corner unit, so you'll enjoy 3-way tropical breezes and plenty of natural light. The covered lanai is a great place to relax with a cocktail and watch the sunset in the evenings. Our unit is one of the few on the property with an in-unit washer and dryer, a rare amenity among Kiahuna units. The unit also has high-speed internet and two flat-screen TVs (one in the living room and one in the bedroom). The fully-equipped kitchen and bar has everything you need to prepare meals, and there are outdoor grills beachside on the "Great Lawn". The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, and the living room has a queen size sofa sleeper. The bathroom has a large shower and separate vanity area.

As a guest at Kiahuna Plantation, you'll have access to the Poipu Athletic Club, which includes a fantastic pool with a waterslide and toddler beach area, tennis courts, a fully-equipped gym, and cold drinks. Use our membership at the club to get access to a range of classes like Yoga and Pilates for $7.00. Across the street from the plantation, you'll find a range of casual to elegant restaurants and a shopping area. The Poipu Bay Golf Course, a world class Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed oceanfront golf course. Nearby Poipu State Park is a great spot for snorkeling and children to play, and the Spouting Horn natural landmark is a short drive away. You can also explore the Na Pali Coast by tour boat or take a helicopter ride for an unforgettable bird's eye view of the island. Great Location

Second time I stayed in this Unit and was happy to see all the upgrades: new coffee pot, new patio furniture, new Knick knacks, louvers and screens all fixed/replaced. Great view and great location on the big lawn. Look forward to staying again!

Beautiful location!

This is our third time to the Plantation and we just love the beautiful location! The unit is very nice and true to the pictures. It was very humid while we were there so a portable fan would have been very helpful to have and also the shower needs some work with the mold but overall we had an amazing time!

Kiahuna on the Lawn

On the lawn is great. Late afternoon sun heats up the living space, so closing the blinds is necessary. Easy access to parking makes bringing luggage and groceries in pretty easy. A bit noisy with the path right next to the unit, but everything quiets down around 9 pm. Adding AC like other units would really help.

Amazing!

Stunning grounds and property! Botanical Garden on the property! Park like setting and right on the beach. The unit had all immenities we needed. It was clean and comfortable. There were even some extras in the kitchen for our use. Also had LOTS of beach things: toys, snorkel, flippers, Beach chairs.... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We love the Kiahuna Plantation

We have returned to this lovely complex year after year. We love the beautiful grounds, the beach, the views and the general atmosphere. Each unit that we’ve stayed in had been decorated according to the tastes of the owners but all have been comfortable. We have found the employees, managers and owners easy to work with and prompt to handle any issues that arose. It’s a great place for all ages and well worth the price.

Enjoyable. Stuff that is left to use was not in great shape. Umbrella broken. Zipper on cooler. But we understand that with all the use things get broken. The unit itself was very nice and our grandson loved the beach toys

Second time even better than the first

We stayed at this exact unit previously in 2022 and it was fantastic. It was even better as some things here and there were fixed, replaced and updated. We love this specific unit because it has the in-unit washer/dryer, leading to packing less clothes and more time saved than using the on-site laundromat. It was clean, well maintained and in a fantastic location to the beach, the grassy area, the activity/towel hut, the BBQ grill and to parking. We had a family of four and it worked out just fine for sleeping arrangements. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it for families no more than 4.

I didn't want to ever leave...

Absolutely breathtaking. You couldn't ask for more in terms of location. As my husband put it, "when you wake up, you are there." The owner and front desk staff were excellent in getting us anything we needed, including running out and getting us a Keurig and BBQ supplies that were promised to be there... by the next day. The laundry was so awesome to have on a hot, humid holiday involving pools and beaches. If I had one thing to mention, the bed has some dips, giving me some neck issues until I figured out a position to avoid it, may be time for an upgrade there. The gym is amazing and pool area. They have the best Mai Tai's, I'm pretty sure I did thorough research on the topic. Honestly, I am just sad that I am not there right now.

Kiahuna week

After sorting away the boxes of new plumbing fixtures yet to be installed and running the last tenants dishes thru the dishwasher I was able to settle in. All in all an ok unit . Could use some TLC . If you want ocean view book an upstairs unit. From your lanai you can see the Palm trees. You are on the great lawn . And On the pathway from the ocean . So you do get a lot of curious passerby traffic. This is a corner downstairs unit. Poipu is gorgeous , the Kiahuna legendary …. The unit works . Will hope the owners give it some love .

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Great Kitchen. Highly recommend! There are some repair needed: the cabinet door in the living room that fell out, now held in place with duck tape and the dressings area pocket door handle needs pliers to close.

Lovely

This was a great location, beautiful view, resort personnel are very helpful. There are no direction/ instructions for linen service, garbage, or the check out process. The resort does not seem to do more than just manage this property, a bit confusing. But overall it is a great room, needs some updates and a coat of paint.
