Great Place To Stay

Came here with my wife, 4 kids ages 2-11 and my dogs. This place was perfect for us. It has a great back yard that all the kids loved. Inside was nice and clean and had all the amenities we needed. Lots of toys for my little ones. Overall great stay!! Not far from the lake at all.

The property is ok for the price per night. It does need some work like plug cover in bathroom, batteries for smoke detectors, windows that are hard to open or do not shut all the way (front bedroom). The bed in main back bedroom is real firm, can not speak on other rooms, we did not use them.

A grandkids getaway

This place was a perfect set up for our three grandkids, ages 6 to 15. The place felt very cozy and familiar. Great yard for our lab and the kids were constantly playing with the huge selection of toys both inside and out. Not a fan of the memory foam mattress, too firm for me. The other rooms worked out great and all enjoyed their nights. Washer/Dryer was a BIG plus.

Houghton Lake

The property is on a very noisy and busy road. The yard isn’t completely fenced for your pet and we found many poison ivy bushes. The furniture was broken and the air conditioner stopped working on the first day. Seating for only four people in the kitchen but sleeping for six. Yard wasn’t mowed.

Nice getaway

We stayed here for a short trip. When we arrived the house wasn’t in the cleanest condition. The dishes were dirty, in the bed we sleeped in there was a women’s shirt under the blanket so we didn’t even know if the bedding was washed there was also a bottle of alchol left in the dresser that was opened. If kids were staying there I would hate for them to have stayed in that room. Just made us feel like the house wasn’t really looked over prior to our stay. Overall the location was amazing there was just a couple little things like cleanliness and the internet didnt work half the time that could improve.
