The home was immaculate and clean. Communication with the host was prompt.. the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a great view with many ships to watch. Very relaxing stay! We would do it again!

The house has a lovely view of the river. Pictures were accurate. The home has been nicely remodeled - a well done remodel or renovation, It was quality workmanship.I was a bit concerned about my ability to manage the stairs, I didn't need to be. The railings were helpful (I have hip issues). It seems this rental is managed by a lovely person or owner and not a rental company. There were nice little things that felt made us feel welcome (like a warm hug).We enjoyed watching the freighters, the booklet with information was helpful. We're curious to learn more about the shipping. We may be back in the winter to see how the ice is handled to keep the shipping lanes open.Thanks for sharing this lovely home.

The entire stay was smooth. From instructions for check in to check out we had no problem. It was sub-zero outside, but cozy inside. The place was incredibly clean. Comfy beds - everything was perfect. We know they love us because they use quality toilet paper and the didn't water down the soap.

Perfect place for a couple's getaway. While located on a main road, it's very quiet. The home is very clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of stores and restaurants a short drive away. It was fun tracking the boats on the provided website to see who was going by. Definitely plan to return.
