Welcome to our spacious, renovated 5-bedroom Decatur home — perfect for families, friends, work trips, and groups visiting Atlanta. With 6 real beds, 3 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, laundry, fast Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and driveway parking, the home is set up to make group travel easy. You’ll be tucked away on a quiet residential street on Atlanta’s east side, with convenient access to Downtown ATL, Decatur, the airport, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, and other major destinations.

The space
This spacious split-level Decatur home is designed to give groups plenty of room to spread out while still feeling warm and connected. The layout offers added privacy between bedrooms and gathering areas, making it a great fit for families, friend groups, work trips, and guests visiting Atlanta for events.

Inside, the home features oak hardwood floors throughout, comfortable furnishings, fast Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, and smart TVs in every bedroom. Each bedroom is set up for a restful stay, with comfortable mattresses and space to unwind after a day exploring Atlanta.

The home also has a personal, creative touch, with unique artwork throughout the space created by the owner from her gallery. It gives the home character and makes it feel more inviting than a typical rental.

Outside, the large backyard gives your group even more room to enjoy. The patio area includes a grill, outdoor dining space, and a picnic table, making it a great spot for casual meals, morning coffee, or relaxing after a busy day.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home, including the laundry room, driveway, front yard, and backyard. Self check-in is available through the keypad, so arrival is easy even if your group is getting in at different times.

The host was very responsive and the house had everything we needed for our stay. There was an issue with the wifi not working, but Michael worked at it diligently to get it solved. House is also good for large groups, plenty of room.

The property was a well-kept home with tons of space for the family. We were in town for a wedding, and the accommodations were perfect. The property managers were attentive and kind! I would rent from them again and again.

The home was very nice and the Host put a lot of work into the house. The home has alot of sleeping space and beds to accommodate a large family or group. Good neighborhood, Neighbors on the left are friendly with well trained dogs. On the other hand , their are barking dogs in the neighborhood at nite, if you are a hard sleeper you will not be bothered by it . Only downfall we experience was brought to the Host attention were thered/brownish stains on the mattress cover and the curtains in the upstairs bedroom.scratches and scrapes on the front door . Host mentioned that will be brought to cleaning crew attention. All and all we had a good stay and will definitely stay their again.

Hi, I’m Michael! I’m a proud University of Georgia grad (Go Dawgs!!!) and also studied Finance and Accounting at the University of Virginia. After school, I moved to Atlanta and worked in finance for several years before discovering my true passion: hosting.
I started back in 2015 by renting out a spare bedroom, which quickly grew into remodeling a basement and eventually helping friends and family design their own vacation homes. What began as a side project turned into Host This Home in 2018, where I now get to focus full-time on creating comfortable, memorable spaces for travelers.

I also serve as Treasurer for the Atlanta Metro Short-Term Rental Association, where I work with other hosts to keep Atlanta’s short-term rental community strong and welcoming.

When you stay with me, my goal is simple: to make you feel right at home while enjoying everything our city has to offer.

I chose this neighborhood because it strikes a rare balance—close enough to the heart of Atlanta to access everything the city offers, yet tucked into a peaceful, residential setting where guests can unwind. It’s in the east side where you’re just minutes from vibrant neighborhoods, local restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and cultural destinations, but without the noise or congestion of the hub.

What I enjoy most is the feeling of being part of a real neighborhood. You’ll see tree-lined streets, friendly sidewalks, neighbors greeting each other. Guests can stroll out for breakfast, explore nearby streets, or just relax in a calm setting after a day of exploring the city. It gives visitors both convenience and the comfort of a “home base” that doesn’t feel like a tourist zone.

What makes this property unique

This home offers more than just rooms—it provides space, flexibility, and thoughtful design for groups and families traveling together. With five spacious bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and ample common areas, everyone gets room to stretch out and feel comfortable.

I paid attention to details: modern fixtures, tasteful décor, comfortable furniture, and an open layout that makes the home feel connected yet easy to live in. The brand-new finish ensures everything feels fresh, clean, and welcoming.

One of the best features is that although it’s big, it doesn’t feel cold or impersonal—there’s warmth, character, and a layout that encourages gathering: in the living room, dining area, or in outdoor space if available. For groups who want privacy and shared time, this home gives that. Plus, being on the east side of Atlanta gives you quick access to the city’s highlights without sacrificing serenity.
