Beautiful views, and worked out well

Good location, beautiful views. Only issue was the fragrance from the laundry detergent on the towels and bedding was very strong and seemed to bother my sinuses.

Sitka Vacation

The apt was very clean and the perfect size for us. The view from the room is awesome. We saw lots of eagles, some otters and seals. It also has a nice balcony to have a glass of wine to end your day!

Best Views in Town for us right out the window.

Property was in a fantastic spot right on the water edge. You can hear the waves crashing and it will lull you to sleep. We saw whales and eagles all from dining window.

Great condo with excellent view

A nice condo in a shared building with several others. Has common entryway, but never even saw another guest. Super quiet area, just crack a window and enjoy the ocean waves. Host was excellent in her communications, would stay here again for sure.

Peaceful location

Located right on the bay, we watched the fishing boats, a seal 5 otters, multiple eagles and a whale surface right in front of our apartment. The apartment is perfect, everything we could possibly need and very clean. Nicole was very pleasant and helpful to work with. I will definitely stay here again if we return to Sitka.

Amazing ocean views

This place was really neat! More like an apartment complex, but i was in the deer room which had a view of the ocean and mountains from every window! I had eagles flying by my windows. It had a community washer/dryer but soap/ dryer sheets included which was great. I thought studio was perfect for 1-2 people. Thank you!!

Wonderful

The inside looks like it is brand new. Very very clean and comfortable. Linens were great. We felt like it was home. The shower was excellent, high pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was immaculate and had everything we needed. We had seals, eagles fishing and a whale right outside our window. I recommend it highly. 5+++ stars

Warning: The views from this rental will be totally distracting and it will be hard to go out! We took pictures right from the window and were able to see so much, wildlife, boating activity, it was amazing. The owners were quick to respond to an issue we had and resolved it on the spot. The laundry facilities were so convenient and we had everything we needed for a wonderful visit in Sitka!

Beautiful view

Like everyone has said, the view is spectacular and the unit could not be cleaner. The write up on the unit is totally accurate. But it does fail to mention the full flight of stairs required to reach the suite.

Beautiful place to stay!

The location is right on the water so the view was amazing. The room very clean and warm and comfortable. Had a nice big smart tv so I could log into my Hulu account to watch what I want. The owner was very responsive if I needed anything. The kitchen had kitchen stuff so I was able to go down to sea mart for stuff to cook. The best part though was falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waves crashing onto the shore.

Lovely place to stay in Sitka

This was a great place to stay while we were in Sitka. The place was clean and the kitchen was functional. It was right on the water and the view was wonderful as was the sound of the waves when we had the windows open. The windows are provide terrific light. Katrina was very quick to respond to a couple of minor issues and fix the problem. The place is on the city bus line, but that doesn't run. on weekends, so if you don't have a car, you need to depend on taxi service (minimal, especially on weekends) and/or the bus (which was awesome!).

some shortfalls

The kitchen is not well equipped. One frying pan that looks like it should have been thrown away. If you are short,the shower head will only hit your face and head and it is too high to reach to remove it. The space looks bigger than it is. The loveseat/twin bed is about six feet from the bed so make sure you know the third person well. The bedspread was stained and old. However, the tv was nice and the host was friendly and helpful. the view is great.
