Heritage House is a beautiful, restored old home with so much character! The bedrooms are very spacious. Wonderful rooms to lounge and enjoy friends and family. We had ever amenity we needed! Thank you so much, Pam.
A beautiful house that exceeded our expectations!!!
We booked this property for a family vacation doing the Bourbon Trail. We knew it was an old 1900's home which is what drew us toward stating here, it's part of the old town charm. We had 7 of us and it is usually hard to find a place big enough to accomidate everyone comfortably, that was not the case here.
On top of it being very nice and well maintained on the inside it is also very spacious. The rooms are huge, which is not always the case with older houses, and beds were comfortable. There was pleanty of room to hang out, play cards, read or whatever else you might want to do without being on top of one another. We also really enjoyed sitting on the front porch which has a swing, lovseat and chairs.
Pam, the host, was very accomidating and answered any questions we had promptly and even suprized us with our first bottle of "Kentucky Juice"
The proximity to town is perfect with many stores and restaurants within a comfortable walking distance. Our son even found a walking trail not to far away to check out some nature.
If you are staying here for the Bourbon Trail be sure to check ot Jeptha Creek Distillery which is just 10 minutes away. We were really imressed with them and their bourbons.
House was accurately depicted and beautiful. Huge rooms with ornate details. Amenities were plentiful with some personable ones for that extra little attention to detail. Location was great for us. Parking in back for several vehicles. Communication with host simple and pleasurable. We would stay again in a heartbeat!!!
Heritage House lived up to every expectation and beyond for our stay. The house is kept up exceptionally well inside and out. The beautiful antique furniture to the front porch swing everything was perfect. We were just minutes from Louisville and Lexington so we got to enjoy so many different things. Pam was always just a call away for questions and we felt very comfortable staying in her home. Definitely a place we will visit on our next stay!! This is one place you will want to stay if you’re looking to visit that area!!
This lovely old home is nicely renovated with all the comforts of modern day living yet all the charm of an old house. The home was very clean and stocked well with all the essential items you would need. The property manager responds very quickly to any questions or concerns. If I’m ever in the Shelbyville area again, I will definitely stay here. Very convenient to Louiseville also.
We spent our family Christmas holiday at the Heritage House and Pam made sure everything was once again perfect. Our family made some very lasting memories here
We had the most amazing experience at the Heritage House!! The Victorian ambience and look made the trip even more memorable. The host was incredible making sure our needs were met and our experience was a true lasting memory. We highly recommend a stay at Heritage House when traveling in this area!!!
I stayed here with my cousins and significant others for a wedding weekend in Shelbyville. Pamela’s house is beautiful! Everything was spotless and the house had many beautiful touches. The location is perfect and easily walkable to the heart of Main Street. We appreciated the extra touches like the bottle of bourbon. There was ample parking in the back of the house. When the wifi cut out Pamela was quit to respond to the issue. Would recommend to anyone planning a weekend or more in Shelbyville.
Everything was perfect in this comfortable historic home. Great location and great communication with our host. Highly recommend if you travel to Shelbyville.
We stayed here as a central location for the Bourbon Trail. 30 minutes to Frankfort and 30 minutes to Louisville. This house is beautiful with lots of antique style features. Pamela was very accommodating to every request and the special touches were appreciated!
