Atlantic Drift is a traditional byre which is set in our croft and has been thoughtfully transformed into a comfortable, open plan living space to unwind and relax. Enjoy the amazing sea views across Dunvegan Head and onwards to the Outer Isles. Watch breathtaking sunsets and the Northern lights. A paradise for wildlife and sea life enthusiasts, with moorland walks, beaches, fishing, water sports, swimming and climbing all on your own doorstep

Perfection!

This place was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the location, tranquility and extra touches that went into making this place really feel like a home. Everything from the large tv, comfy bed, extra large bath towels and super-stocked kitchen left us wanting for nothing. It is a drive to some of the hikes on different parts of the island but we didn’t mind at all. The remote location made it feel even more real. We chatted with Ken and he was lovely, funny and helpful with our inquiries but also gave us our space as we like to do our own thing. Check-in and communication were a breeze and while we would definitely recommend this place to anyone, we hope that it’s not booked should we decide to come back to Skye. We would want to stay nowhere else. Thank you, Ken and Linda. You have a real gem here.

What makes this property unique

I give my guests space but am available if needed
We live in a cottage on the same croft, so available at reasonable times.

The famousThree Chimneys restaurant is close by and there is a local shop and cafe at Glendale. Dunvegan has a choice of eating, shopping and a post office and garage for your everyday needs. The famous Neist Point Lighthouse is within walking distance or a five minute drive away. We have a pretty harbour where fishing boats land lobster and crabs.
