Escape lakeside 11 miles south of historic Hermann, MO. This property is a 200-acre ranch with 4 newly constructed modern cabins nestled on a 7-acre lake with kayaks and fire pits available for guests. The cabins sleep 3-5 guests with a master bedroom and open air loft. Experience the rustic setting in a modern cabin with better than hotel amenities.
The property is located 11 miles south of Hermann, MO on Highway 19. The driveway is 1 mile south of Swiss, MO. The private drive has an excellent display of mature pine trees with brand new fencing and open fields for the ranch. The driveway takes you through a park-like atmosphere of woods to the 7-acre stocked lake. There is convenient access to both the 4 cabins and the two-story-in-ground home know as the bunker house,that has been remodeled into the meeting space for meals, entertainment, group gathering, group events, or workshops. The bunker house can be rented on request.The cabins are modern in design and have lodging for 3-5 guests. The cabins are ADA friendly on the main level with a loft. They are brand new construction with modern decorations. Each will have a fire pit, grill, stamped concrete porch, stained concrete floors, access to kayaks, master bedroom, loft bedroom, kitchen/dining area, two-burner cook-top, microwave oven, coffee pot, dishes and cups, kitchen sink/garbage disposal, mini-fridge, walk-in shower, two smart TV's, wifi, electric heated fireplace, living room, climate-controlled and spacious rooms. The two-story in-ground home has a very modern look to it with a brand new concrete patio connected to modern see-through garage doors off the main gathering space and kitchen. It has a family restroom, and a multiple stall men's and women's restroom. This building is located just a short walk away from cabins.
Guests will have access to the main lake, two other ponds, 40 acres with ahiking trail, and other open designated areas which total about 60 acres. There will be a map provided for guests and signs to mark boundaries. This property is surrounded by farms and woods.
There is plenty of parking and easy access to areas that guests can access. Right off highway 19 which connects to Highway 50 and Interstate 70. With its convenient location, anywhere in Missouri can be easily accessed while staying here.
This property is owned by a local Christian non-profit called H&M Christian Retreats. The mission of the organization is to provide programs and facilitate intentional time in a quiet place for people to refresh, reconnect, and renew their relationship with God and others. Great getaway destination!

The cabins are beautiful and in a very scenic part of the area. It’s very serene. The cabins are practical as well as clean. Management is very responsive to any problem or concern. Overall a great place to stay!

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin is located on beautifully secluded property. The view from the back patio is amazing every morning and peaceful each night. The hosts were very responsive and helpful from pre-trip guidance to assisting with checking in. We will definitely book this accommodation again!
