Road in the GSMNP are closed for various weather and other reason, please check the park website before your day trip up the mountain. Turnarounds are difficult and time consuming on your vacation time.

Misty Hollow is a mountainside subdivision of 20 cabins sparingly sited on or about one acre plots. Neighboring cabins are visible through the tree canopy. The asphalt road has a 10-12 degree incline . No off road vehicle required as full size service vehicles are able to navigate it well.
Downtown Gatlinburg fun is 6.2 miles away. Center of Pigeon Forge is 8.1. Dollywood Parks Blvd is 10.4 miles.

The mountain side cabin is located on asphalt mountain road. It is a curvy 12% incline road that levels out. NOT A DIFFICULT DRIVE Anticipate seasonal weather challenges (ice and snow) as access via mountain roads can be a challenge in the mountains during inclimate weather. A 4 wheel or AWD vehicle maybe necessary in the winter. No RV parking.
