We had a great time at this place. Everything was exactly as described. The host was very responsive and accommodating. It’s a lovely place to stay, with everything you could need.
Home is beautiful and clean. Had everything we needed. Communication with the host was great. Very quiet, away from the city, up on a hill, if weather is snowing, you might need a 4x4 to get to it. Sitting on the porch in the evening was wonderful. Shasta Caverns a very close and well worth the boat ride and shuttle to the caverns.
The listing was accurate and the host was very attentive to our communications and questions. The place was a very nice place for peace and quiet time. The weather was active while we were there, but the host checked in on us and made sure everything went well.
Such a relaxing mountain retreat. Very comfortable vacation home. Ten-minute drive to Bridge Bay Marina on Lake Shasta. Swamp cooler works great. Nice appliances.
Our stay at this cabin was great , the place was clean , and very nice , quiet , and peaceful . Close to the lake easy access to the Marina . Only down side was finding places to eat out , but if you like to bbq then your all good , i would rent this cabin again for sure
We had a great time in this home which is about a 5-minute drive from Bailey Cove. The house is very clean and well taken care of. The hosts were extremely responsive. We rented a boat from Bridge Bay which was less than a 10 minutes drive from the house.
Perfect location being close to lake Shasta and a short drive from Redding. Cabin was clean and spacious. Can get hot but the swamp cooler works wonders. Would definitely recommend.
It was a beautiful place! The host was communicative and the description quite accurate. It is clearly a new renovation and sparsely outfitted, but it’s fine!
This was just what we needed. The house was comfortable and well maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay. Next time it will be longer 😀 thanks for having us! 🙏
From start to finish great experience overall. The host was very nice made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The cabin offered spectacular views very cozy and kid friendly. I highly recommended others to stay in what I call a hidden little treasure in the beautiful mountains.
House was as described and had everything you needed. Would love or come back and stay during winter and see falling snow. Definitely coming back. Owners/PM very helpful and organized.
This house was exactly as described. We were a family of five (all adult kids), and had a great time in the area. We enjoyed the house, its remote location with spectacular deck and views.
The host was responsive and accurate with the property description. We definitely will come back when in the area.
One of the best holiday rental experiences we have had.
Lovely mountain home with spectacular views! The home was spotless and we had no issues staying cool with the swamp cooler. Communication was great with the owner. Internet worked great for being up in the mountains. We hope to return soon!
The entire house was incredibly clean, and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the quick response from the owner. There were a few things we wish we would have known ahead of time. The oven wasn't working properly (before we arrived) and spent a few cold nights because we didn't have access to turn on the heater. Once we mentioned the heat, the owner was quick to turn it on remotely, which we appreciated. It was also a bit further out than we anticipated by the wording on the listing, which was overall fine, but not originally anticipated.

Hey Ann,
Thanks again for staying with us — we really appreciated having you!
Just wanted to quickly clarify the note about the heater: guests do have full access to it anytime through the thermostat inside the house. We turned it on remotely when you reached out just to make things easier for you, but you're always welcome to adjust it yourself during your stay.
Really glad you enjoyed the space overall, and we’d love to host you again sometime!
