Main Street Retreat! Hot Tub, Golf Cart, Ev Charge

Welcome to Main Street Manor! This home is a stones throw away from downtown Port Sanilac which features places to shop, eat, drink & even fun things for kids such as the park & beach! The hot tub is always a hit! You will not find a nicer home in the area as it is completely remodeled w/high end finishes! Your 1st words when walking through the front door will be "wow". This home is the nicest home in the area w/o a doubt! (Please note: Golf Cart is available mid-april through Nov 1st)


- Dog(s) are allowed but you must get permission first before you rent this cottage. The dog(s) must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outside, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. Please sweep up/vacuum dog hair and dispose of prior to your departure. There is an additional fee to bring your dog(s).
HOUSE RULES:

- No more than 4 cars on site
- Do NOT park on road or in neighbors' way!
- All furniture must be put back where it is found!
- No Shoes on while inside the home
- Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM
- Dog(s) must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outside, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. Please sweep up/vacuum dog hair and dispose of prior to your departure. There is an additional fee to bring your dog(s).
- Please respect our neighbors by not having loud music or by yelling and using profanity (many are permanent residents!)
- Garbage must be bagged up, put into trash bins at the end of the drive way at departure.
- You must be 25 or older to rent this cottage
- Please note: RVs, tents, and campers are not permitted at our homes. Failure to comply will result in applicable fees.

What a quaint home! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful, including providing us with a list of things to do during our stay and answering all questions that we had in a very timely manner. The home was extremely clean and cozy with a short walking distance to the lake making the location just perfect! We will be back!

Great location. Golf cart was nice amenity. The cleanliness was not great, we planned to make breakfast but the pans pretty in pretty bad shape and because of the cleanliness decided against it. Coffee pot took 30 minutes to brew a pot. The lawn guy came at 7am, right outside the windows and woke everyone up. There is room for improvement!

Clean, sheets were left in the dryer and a rug and pillowcase were in the washing machine when we arrived. Garage is dirty both inside and out and vines are growing on the inside. Fire pit is not well tended. Overall we like this place. This was our second year here, however, the prices you are charging in 2026 will force us to find another venue. While I was okay with paying current rates, the house is not worth in excess of 500 per night.

Great home base in Michigan Thumb!

Great house. Excellent layout. Nice amenities. Nice hot showers. We really enjoyed our stay. The Stone Lodge had excellent food with a price range to accommodate all budgets.

thank you! That is exactly the comment we were aiming for when we designed this house. For those reading these reviews, we have a few more small things we plan to do, however this house was completely gutted, then we had the guys in the family put a design together... only to have the wifes come in and add another full bath, some changes to the kitchen, added a coffee bar, and picked out the decorations. overall this is really a nice home to stay if your looking to get away and park the car for your entire stay. There is a power outlet on the side of the house for those who have an electric car (the fast charge).

Relaxing Getaway

Had a great time in Port Sanilac perfect for a quick getaway. House was perfectly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, shower was excellent. Hot tub was clean and super relaxing. Location was great, town was pretty quiet this time of year but had everything we needed. Easy walking distance to Blue Water Sports Bar great bar food and pool, Roxannes for breakfast, and good coffee at Sanilac Coffee. Would recommend and stay again!

Port Sanilac Relative Visit

My mother and I came from California to visit a relative. We stayed two nights in late November 2022. The house was immaculate, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our lodging. TV, wifi, and beds all excellent. Very nice host and friendly town!

This year we have sold three couches (that were starting to show wear) to folks in town. 2 of which went to other peoples rental homes. Folks, when you show up our goal it to put you in a bed as comfortable as yours, put you on a couch that’s new/super comfy, and do what we can to help you enjoy a few days/week of Rest and relaxation. We own 5 homes we rent out and we now manage another 15 (soon to be more). This gives us the ability to have a dozen people who clean homes for us, a full time carpenter and a full time property manager who lives in town that can quickly help solve problems or make sure your trip is a great one. Great spot!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Clean property with multiple bedrooms and large showers. Hot tub was nice and was not visible to neighbors. Nice kitchen area and TV, and cool board game room. Would recommend bringing some black out curtains for the bedrooms if needed, as well as maybe a curtain for the front door. (We came prepared and slept well!)

Stay in Port Sanilac

My husband and I were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and to view the Fall colors. This cute place fit the bill! Nicely appointed with everything you need. It was just the two of us but is roomy enough for 8-10 people. The two full baths are very nice! Port Sanilac is a nice little town and we also visited Lexington and found plenty of interesting things to do.

Thanks for the nice review. We own 5 homes in the area and manage another 10 plus. When one of the owners or family go up this and the big yellow (luxury on the lake) homes are where everybody wants to stay. For those reading these reviews. This house was designed by my wife and built by my best friend. We were way over budget, however it was worth it as we all love this place. Come spend 3-4 days with us!!!
