Bartlett's Beach House is a charming oceanfront home that has stunning ocean views with a Tesla EV charger. You can relax the day away in the living area that offers spectacular views of the ocean from comfortable couches, a door that leads directly to the beach, and a flatscreen TV with DVD and WiFi. If you decide to venture out, the beach is just steps away and the walk to town is an easy eight blocks away.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a butcher-block island, Keurig coffee maker, dishwasher, and enclosed laundry. Wake up in the main bedroom and gaze out the sliding glass door at the waves crashing on the beach, the occasional deer, and an array of sea and land-based birds (hummingbirds, songbirds, raptors, seagulls). You also have a half bath and a deck overlooking the ocean and headlands when you step through the sliding glass door. The second bedroom has a window that faces a private fenced yard. South-facing clearstory windows in both bedrooms ensure maximum natural light.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Lovely View, Lovely House

We had a delightful stay at Bartlett’s Beach House. We shared the house with another couple. The open layout of the house made it feel roomy. The location is amazing. We especially appreciated the wall of windows facing the ocean. Even on the day it rained all day, we didn’t mind. We just looked out the window and enjoyed the ocean from the comfort of the living room. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare meals…dishes, pots and pans of every size, and a good variety of cooking utensils. There are also games, good books, even binoculars. The beds are comfortable with good quality cotton sheets and coverlets. Loved the walk-in shower! We did experience the ceiling creaking on the first day. It seems to be more noticeable when the weather is sunny and then cools down in the evening, but it didn’t bother us. Bring ear plugs if you think you might be sensitive. Final note: I didn’t read the instructions carefully enough on which lockbox would have the guest key to the house. (There is only one key, by the way.) Lisa from Vacasa went out of her way to help sort this out. My apologies and thanks again! We definitely look forward to staying at Bartlett’s Beach House again!

Best Beach house

Great place to relax with family. Short walk to gorgeous beach across dunes out back. Beautiful views to ocean. Watched lovely sunsets from back deck. Short walk to town. Short drive to nice pickleball courts in Nehalem. Cottage had everything we needed & really efficient use of space. Beautifully decorated place, reminds me of Cape Cod.

Heaven

This is a perfect intimate quiet retreat for a couple. The view from the master and living room is lovely with no need to close the curtains. The kitchen is surprisingly well appointed. the cottage itself is decorated brightly, minimally and super comfy. Easy to get into with the lockbox and key. Very reasonable for the price. The beach is an easy walk over the dunes. And the sunsets! I actually can say that the "you won’t want to leave" ad quote is spot on. We only went out to dinner once in 4 days. But there are some cute wine/whiskey bars in Manzanita :)

Great location, not clean

Wonderful location and adorable house!! Unfortunately it had not been cleaned well before our arrival. Property management was great with communication and refunded us the cleaning fee which was very nice. You can tell the house is very nice, but it needs an overhaul in the cleaning department! But, with that said, we would stay there again if that part was solved. You can’t beat being able to walk right out to the beach and just a short walk to town! We had a really great time and Manzanita never disappoints.
