Our stay at the Little Woods Lodge VRBO was absolutely wonderful, and we give it five stars without hesitation. The owner of the Little Woods Lodge VRBO Shawn was an exceptional host—and his communication was proactive, clear, and extremely accommodating from start to finish. It made our trip planning and stay completely stress-free.The Little Woods Lodge property was ideal for our needs, providing a perfect home base for exploring Northern Michigan. The location was outstanding, allowing us to easily visit the charming small towns and interesting landmarks throughout the area. We particularly enjoyed exploring the small beach communities in Leelanau County and made great use of the facilities at Crystal Mountain resort. The "tiny home/cabin" was exactly as described and perfectly suited for our getaway. We truly appreciated Shawn's hospitality and genuine effort to make our trip so enjoyable. We would highly recommend the Little Woods Lodge to anyone looking for a superb vacation experience and an outstanding host!
We just love this place!! It is the perfect location for our ski weekends at Crystal Mountain and just the right size for our family. Thank you for letting us share your little slice of heaven!
The Little Woods Cabin exceeded all expectations! Everything from the location to the decor and the amenities needed while in the woods were better than we anticipated. The cabin is located with an easy distance to all that northern Michigan has to offer and the well-equipped (and cute!) cabin was the perfect spot to come back to after a day of adventures. The owner was responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful 4 days and look forward to a return visit soon. Thank You!
This property lived up to all its billing. These hosts have thought of almost everything for anyone to enjoy their stay at this property. It's peaceful and warm and close to so many attractions including Iron Fish Distillery, which I highly recommend. It is so quaintly appointed as well. You're gonna love this place.
We had a fantastic time in this little house! It was so great to be able to get out and enjoy nature, the surrounding sites and restaurants, then come back to a quiet spot in the woods. We loved the attention to detail and decor in the house. My favorite spot was outside on the hammock to take a nap after a long trip of kayaking down the river with my family. While there, we rented bikes at Crystal Mountain, kayaked the Platte River, enjoyed the live music and mead at St. Ambrose Cellars, and ate at the Ironfish Distillery. It was a fun-filled weekend.
We could not be happier with our stay. Shawn was a great communicator, even offering early check in and checking on us by message to ensure we had everything we needed. There was not a single detail missing in this home. It was PERFECT! We will be returning and now i MUST build my own tiny house.
Our stay was great! This tiny house was perfect for our family. It’s a great mix of rustic feel with all the modern amenities you could need. It is spotless and extremely well maintained. It’s in a great location only a few minutes from Crystal Mtn. The owner Shawn is great to work with and has excellent communication. If you’re thinking about it, just book it….You won’t be disappointed!
We enjoyed our stay in the tiny home! It was perfect for driving to Sutton’s Bay, Acadia Dunes and Crystal Mountain. The home is very clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Overall this is a beautiful property. The interior was pretty darn immaculate. Hosts are amazing and super responsive. Location is very central and convenient, however the surrounding properties were a bit unexpected. We loved the carefully curated design and amenities that this property offered. We had a tiny bump in our stay but the hosts were responsive and extremely helpful.
Good place to stay and close to a variety of activities. Quiet surroundings which is what we wanted. Shawn was easy to work with in booking the property.
Cabin was absolutely amazing! Exactly what I was looking for :) cabin was extremely clean with all kinds of amenities available. Will definitely book here again!
This is a great location in Michigan that allows for day trips for hiking and exploring. The accommodations are the perfect balance of rustic and modern. Everything you need is within this tiny house's walls.
Took the family of four up north for a week long vacation, stumbled upon this cabin and fell in love with it. The property was great and located near all the places we like to go, Manistee National Forest, Frankfort, Crystal Lake and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Iron Fish Distillery was close and awsome
We arranged with the owner to arrive around 10:30pm. He gave us an entry code, said that was fine and we could arrive anytime. When we tried to enter the property in the evening, there was an apparent malfunction with the door lock so we could not gain entry. We could not reach the owner by phone, text or VRBO. All our phone calls went immediately to his voicemail. The VRBO customer service rep tried many times to contact the owner and could not reach him. The owner finally responded to us at 9:30am THE NEXT MORNING. Fortunately, we found another place to stay, but at 11:30pm at night with a crying daughter. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY FOR ANYONE.
