Welcome to Mountain Elegance, a newer mountain home built for ultra comfort and family fun! 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, plus a bonus loft, this home can comfortably accommodate multiple families!
Located in Coarsegold, CA, this home is approximately 24 miles to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park and 15 miles to the shores of Bass Lake. For some great food and entertainment options, the 4 star Chukchansi Casino and Resort is less than 5 minutes away!

The entire home is cooled and heated by 2 central heating and AC units.
The pool is open year round and is serviced every week. The pool is NOT heated, as it is generally not needed during the main pool months of June through September, when temperatures often hit 100* F. There is NO lifeguard on duty for the pool. Please use at your own risk. Kindly remember that this home is in the mountains, so while the pool is cleaned and treated every single week of the year by a pool tech, it can sometimes gets leaves, bugs, and other items associated with a mountain environment.
The nightly rate during the colder months is lower to take into account the pool being unusable for most people (although some people love a good polar plunge!).
The hot tub is open year round!
The home has professional landscaping that is done every Tuesday morning, subject to change per landscaping company's schedule.

Rental Agreement- Immediately after booking, the rental agreement displayed at checkout will be sent to you via text and email for E-signing. E-signing allows you to go straight to the property upon your arrival, instead of coming to our office to sign and get a key!

Access to Yosemite and Nearby Attractions- Yosemite National Park, like many others across the United States, has implemented a reservation system in recent years to manage visitor numbers effectively. We highly recommend that visitors planning a trip to Yosemite stay informed by regularly checking the National Parks websites and affiliated sources for any updates regarding the reservation system. While we strive to provide our guests with an exceptional experience, it's important to note that access to Yosemite or nearby attractions cannot be guaranteed, especially during peak seasons. By staying informed and flexible, visitors can better navigate their travel plans and make the most out of their trip to this beautiful region.
Kitchen- The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cookware, cups, silverware, and more! Our housekeeping team leaves out salt, pepper, and a can of cooking spray. Friends, family, and other guests sometimes leave spices, aluminum foil or ziploc bags at the home. You are most welcome to use any of these items, but if something is particularly crucial to the success of your meals, we do recommend bringing it along with you.
Linens- Our vacation homes are some of the few in the Yosemite area to use professionally laundered linens. All linens are professionally serviced for each and every reservation. The linens are washed in commercial grade washers with stronger hypoallergenic detergent than you would find in a residential washer. All linens are then pressed with an iron at 300° F, vs. a standard home dryer that only reaches 160°. You are not likely to find this level of service in other vacation homes.
*Bunkbeds- Please note that due to California Worker's Compensation restrictions, housekeeping will not be able to make the top bunk prior to arrival. Fresh sheets, bedding, and pillows are absolutely provided for it though!
Fireplace/Firepit- Kindly note that no wood burning is allowed at this property. Propane firepits and BBQ grills are usable year round. The home has 2 central heating systems, therefore the pellet stove in the living room and the propane fireplace in the master bedroom are not available for use.
Pool/Hot Tub- There is no lifeguard on duty for the pool/hot tub. Please use at your own risk. We kindly ask that you shower prior to entering the pool/hot tub. The pool is not heated, but is serviced and available year round. Since there is no lifeguard on duty, we recommend not using the pool after 10PM to avoid accidents and excessive noise.
NOT Pet Friendly- This property is NOT pet friendly!
Parking- There is enough parking for 7-8 cars at this property. We appreciate you not exceeding the maximum parking limit. Many of the local roads are privately owned and privately maintained. Please be mindful to obey speed laws and drive slowly in residential neighborhoods!
Early or Late Check-ins- Early check ins are often difficult for our team to accommodate. If you would like to check in early, please reach out to us after 2PM on the day of your arrival so we can check with our team. If you need guaranteed early check in, we recommend booking the night before your arrival so that you may check in as early as you wish. For checkout, most vacation homes have a 10AM check out in our area. We provide an 11AM checkout, and unfortunately can rarely offer a later checkout.
Occupancy- Maximum occupancy of 15 guests regardless of age. Infants are included in the total. This is strictly enforced. No having events/weddings/large dinner gatherings/guests over just to visit.
Security Cameras- There are external only cameras on the premises that face certain entrance points of the home.
Chains- California Highway Patrol and the National Park Service may require chains in wintery/snowy/icy conditions. Please ensure you are bringing a vehicle and necessary equipment capable of navigating in these conditions.
No Smoking- The Smoke Remediation Fee will be a minimum of $500 for smoking in the house and could be higher depending on the extent of the damage.
Insurance- Travel Insurance is provided as an option during the checkout process. Please note that as hosts, we cannot protect your trip from flight delays, illnesses, weather, job loss, or other circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. We truly wish we could! We STRONGLY suggest purchasing some type of Travel Insurance so that you may protect your vacation investment from unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. It's a nominal cost that can absolutely pay off!
Mail- Due to locked neighborhood mailboxes, we ask you not mail anything to the property. You are most welcome to mail items to our office (Love Yosemite! Vacation Rentals) in Oakhurst. Please reach out to us to make arrangements.
Calling Us - After booking, you are always welcome to call us at our main phone number, 24/7. That number does not receive text messages, but you will receive a text from us after booking and you can respond to that text thread any time you like. We check text messages regularly during the day and early evening.
Please note this property is nestled in the breathtaking Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, offering a serene escape into nature. However, being in such a pristine environment means that you may occasionally encounter some of nature's residents, such as ants, spiders, insects, mice, and cobwebs. We take every precaution, including regularly scheduled professional pest control to minimize these occurrences, but they are a natural part of the mountain experience and may get past our defenses from time to time. If you do notice any of this during your stay, please let us know so we can promptly address them and ensure your comfort.
Neighbors- Please do not trespass on the neighboring properties. We appreciate you respecting the local neighborhood!
Internet- Peer-to-peer (for example bit torrent) and downloads of copyrighted and illegal material are strictly forbidden by United States law and our internet provider actively monitor these activities. Guests are fully responsible for any illegal uploading or downloading of content and for other illegal activities. By agreeing to the House Rules, you agree to not perform any illegal activities using the home`s internet connection. Any copyright infringement by guest is subject to release of guest's information to copyright holder.
Simple Checkout Instructions-
1. Check out time is 11:00am, not 10am like most vacation homes up here!
2. Please do not do any laundry, it's all professionally serviced off-site.
3. If you have time to start the dishwasher, that would be helpful but not necessary.
4. Kindly throw your garbage in the large green dumpster, located out by the parking! It really helps us keep the critters away!
5. Most importantly, please return any furniture you may have moved during your stay.
P.S. Don't forget to get a last minute photo or two with your family and friends before leaving!
