I love the concept of the homes, but it looks as if they stopped caring for it a long time ago. The pillows have wear and tear (stains, smell, and loss of shape/firmness) as if they’ve been there for years without being replaced. One home had roaches in the kitchen. None of the homes were cleaned thoroughly. The sheets had stains and the towels were extremely cheap. The basic amenities, such as pots and pans were severely rusted and old that they could not be used. The floors seemed as if they hadn’t been mopped in months with sticky residue left on them. The door in 1749 would not stay closed unless dead bolted. A small wind gust could open the door, which made us feel unsafe. If they would care more for the homes by updating it with essentials such as mops, brooms, simple cleaning products and update the other concerning issues, it would be 4-5 stars easily. But it just looks as if no one cars about it.
